@Matheus Barreto statistically he was the best TE in the league last year. The absolute only reason Ertz, Andrews, Kittle and Kelce were considered better was because they’ve proven to consistently be top TEs (besides Andrews, he just got praised because he was on the same team as the league MVP) while last season was basically Waller’s first year.
@Kevin J Im a Raider fan but you might wanna check the stats again… he was the 2nd or 3rd best. We might see a slight decline stats wise this year too with all the extra weapons we have. We’ll see
@Joseph Jay i dont mind stats dropping if he is decoying for big plays from the supportijng cast. The thing that is gonna make this offense so scary are the combinations of speed and phsiciality. The O Line is out to prove its an overall All Pro.
@Joseph Jay Nah bro he was literally the best TE in the league last year statistically. He was second in recieving yards (more than Kittle, less than Kelce), had the second best blocking grade (way higher than Kelce and lower than Kittle), had a catch percentage of 77% (higher than Kelce, lower than Kittle), led all TEs in yards after catch and was the only TE to have 100+ yards in a game five times or more, tied for first in longest reception (75 yards). Kelce is painted as the best TE based on stats last year but he’s not. He only had about 80 more recieving yards than Waller but also had 46 more targets than him and 7 more receptions. He also had less yards per reception, averaged less yards after catch, had a lower catch rate and was a way worse blocker than Waller. Kittle would probably have better stats than both of them if he would’ve played a full season, so I consider him the best TE in the league but I’d take Waller over Kelce any day. I do agree though that he’ll probably have worse stats this season but I’m pretty confident that he’ll be in the top five regardless ✊🏼 Carr’s favorite targets are his TEs it seems lol
