Why do people not understand packages and rotation? Carl is not going to ride the bench. He’s going to rotate in on certain packages. The Raiders dont play just “starters” on their d-line. The modern NFL doesnt work that way. Calling Carl a “backup” shows a lack of understanding of the game.

to be fair, what he’s mostly referring to are california drivers. because a good portion of our drivers are california transfers , and after waiting in traffic everyday of their lives, they get on the I-15 and want to 110 like ricky bobby.

Honestly, Carl and his stand up..get it done.. energy is needed here. He’s a character guy and it rubs off in the locker room. I hope he stays a while. He’s the foundational type guy you need in a total team rebuild overhaul Gruden is pursuing right now. I only ask for him to perform amazing on the field🙏
