What were your thoughts on Damone clarks first game
57 reps for the game. He also put his speed on display when he was clocked in the third quarter at a top speed of 22.19 mph by Next Gen Stats in hunting down Justin Fields at full stride. That landed him the fastest time by any linebacker in the history of NGS , it also bests Parsons’ top mark of 20.41 mph, and this is from a 6-foot-2, 240-pounder.
He did a good job. Will get better.
Coach Quinn we been applauded your awesome defense, but the run game still need work, these athletic QB’s who can run still gushing us, along with fast physical running backs… overplaying in the run coverage….got to contain the run gaps..glad to see Damone out there also Hankins should get better on the run coverage…D Law who is a outstanding player had Fields for the sack about 4 times but his angle was to inside which allowed Fields to escape outside for big yards…an tackling especially with us on the bye this week to get better there…I’m confident you will fix this…enjoy your bye week….Go “Cowboys”.
If you check out the tape you seen on a handful of those big runs lve either can’t shed block or he is too hesitant to make a play and they run right past him in his gap. I don’t know if they realizing it or don’t have someone more capable. It’s very glaring to me though

@thewizbak I think there isn’t anyone else capable. We finally got to see Damone Clark and I know it was his first start but he wasn’t any better. Maybe they have to go thru growing pains with him and he’ll be better.
@kI check out his tape from the game. He actually was better at gap fits and shedding the block. He also attacked as soon as he recognized what was going on which is what I been wanting from lve for a while. Damone Clark is going to be fine. Plus that kid is lightning fast ..
Hurry up run defense we need to get it together!
How are you going to fix the defensive players taking bad angles and breaking containment which is hurting the run defense

The only game they have gave up more than 20 …. Hardly an issue
MAKE THE REFS/NFL STAFF run FULL SPEED and make them change direction in 0.25 of a second while in mid air. Because that’s what most of the time happens with Dallas “ruffing the passer” calls. They literally hit them 0.25 of a second after the ball leaves their hand. How can ANY HUMAN OR MACHINE go from full speed to 0 in 0.25 of a second. It’s ridiculous. The only way to solve it to to make the refs or nfl staff run full speed and I mean THEIR FULL SPEED and try to stop in 0.25 of a second and also while diving forward. It’s only if they find out that it’s impossible to do that they’ll start to review if the player was too committed to the tackle and it was WAY to close to the QB releasing the ball that the flags will stop
That’s the thing they created those penalties to protect static, pocket passers like Brady, Brees etc.. But with QBs now like Irving, Josh Allen, Hurts, Fields.. You’re not going to put those guys down with a little one handed shove to the chest. What are they supposed to do?

Always watch the Run Starting The Games On Defense. We Want to take a Shot in the Air and More In 3 downs and longs. TRUSTING our players TO MAKE A PLAY Weather The Ball Is Coming there Way Or (NOT) Everything Come Together At the End, Always. #DallasCowboys #DanQuinn Always Watch the Running Back. And Cover The Middle for check downs And then cover the Back field, for any deep throws.
At The Middle to Last Stages Of the Games And 3 and long, When We Play Defense it’s 80-90% comes down to ( Man To Man ) coverage. ( Watch The RB )
I’m hoping the Cowboys make a big trade today. We need another real threat on offense, especially to compete with the beagles, 49ers and potentially the Chiefs or Bill’s.

At one point I was enamored by Kris Richard….but Q got me. I want to sit up for him. He hit the bulls-eye with tackling. We keep 95 madden diving yup tackle. LVE keep being scared to blow up lineman due to his neck. We need a mlb and a receiver…..and yes tackle better…it Dont hurt to hold the guy up till the calvary arrive….stop and wrap up….one team we face tht run non-stop…the Titans🤬🤬🤬🤬
