RICO is gonna be a beast sooner rather than later
Our D needs to take a HUGE LEAP if We’re going anywhere this Year. Our Offense is going to be Great but it’s not built for Shootouts.
@RudySKC They had the #31 defense and got outscored by 142 points, 6th most in the nfl. They lost 5 games by 15+ points. They gave up 30+ points 7 times, 40+ 3 times.
Trade for Roquan Smith and sign Suh for one year. Would definitely help the Defense.
@Adam B34 I agree with u. I meant that the defense performed above expectation last yr, which isn’t saying much. There’s a reason Aaron Glenn got head coaching interviews. I was just sayin that if the offense scored at least 20 points per game, which is below league average, they would have 7 wins. So, with an improved offense, they could still definitely reach that 8-10 win range this yr. However, I agree with u that they need to add a lot more pieces before this can be really good defense
@RudySKC thank you people are really overreacting to a preseason game. The only fanbase that cares about preseason is ours when it doesn’t prove anything

Don’t matter if we don’t go get some linebackers…the rookie D Line won’t be able to learn correctly either with those terrible line backers

@Lucian Bergman strength of schedule is fluid. By mid season they could actually have a tough schedule. But yea for now the schedule looks weak
Lotta comments (on every video, not here) about the defense. I mean the starters played 10 plays, vanilla, base, with no scheme. Plus this team is in the middle of a process and a build. It’s a middle of the road team, at best!
Defense almost shut Atlanta first drive down. A couple players just missed some plays. I bet coaches are ironing that out right now. I’m happy with both this offense and defense! Go lions!
The defense gave up a lot of yards and had very little ability to contain the run. It wasn’t just a couple players missing assignments.

Nobody gets excited about “almost winning” or “almost shutting the drive down” like Lions fans… “if a couple things just went differently, we had it!” Hahahaha! Same crap every year, every game… almost, could’ve, but if things went different blah blah blah.

Davis isn’t a linebacker, dude is an edge rusher, I’ve said it since the first time he was with us. He’s been playing the wrong position his entire NFL career.

@Ethan Brown depends on what we offer….there in a complete rebuild mode. Throw them a second round and Benson…it might be there highest offer..other teams are good.
