I love Gardner as my team’s QB, but I think DJ would be a 1,500+ receiver with Trevor Lawrence throwing him the ball.
He will have 1300 yards this year with Minshew and we’re not picking close to first unless the Rams give it to us.

I don’t see us doing well because the talent on this team is weak, Marrone isn’t a great coach, Caldwell sucks at drafting, and the roster management this offseason was terrible. Plus, Vegas projects is to have the 1st pick, and PFF says we have the weakest roster, and, out of the four teams that are most likely get the 1st pick, we have the weakest roster. The Chargers potentially have the best defense and some proven receivers like Keenan Allen. The Panthers have a potent run game and a strong defense. Plus McCaffrey is a fantastic receiver out of the backfield and DJ Moore is a breakout candidate. The Bears probably won’t have the first pick because they have possibly the best defense in the league, which will bail the offense out like the 2017 Jags.
Still think all four teams pick in the top ten, but we have the best chance to land Trevor Lawrence.
Also, this team has several players with lengthy injury histories, Linder, Norwell, Cam Robinson, Eifert, Shenault, O’Shaunessy, Chaison, Westbrook, Hayden, etc.m Don’t be surprised if any of them miss significant time. Plus, the OL sucks.
