I’d welcome a trade down for multiple picks
This isn’t a normal situation. Chido, Lewis and Woods are entering their final years. If anyone of them has a break out year, they’ll price themselves out of Dallas or to a franchise tag. Dallas knows they have to sign quality players in free agency this year if they let Byron Jones go. Unless they plan on having 5 DB’S with one year or less in the league.
Why not draft a pro bowl caliber punter? What 7th round WR or LB is going to make this team and play? Drafting him is cheaper than signing him as Undrafted FA
And how exactly you gonna find a “Pro Bowl punter” in the draft? In the draft they all rookies, you have to be in the NFL already and perform at a high level to even be considered to the Probowl. In case you didn’t know
leadfoot97 I clearly said “caliber”, and if you watch enough football, you understand that they draft players based on talent and comparisons. That’s why the have a grading system. And you will trade a true pro bowl player for a draft pick. Or an all pro player with hall of fame potential for a few picks. It’s not hard to tell if a punter is better than someone, there’s not competition with him except the air. Again key word “caliber”.
Tristen Hill was behind better talents at DT. Woods and Collins. Gallup was the best talent at WR in 2018 until Amari Cooper came. Of course he started.
Need to double up at cornerback,CJ Henderson,Jeff Gladney,KJ Hill in the slot baby!

Start Lewis! This guy is a monster and didn’t even start until over halfway through the season! No one has said anything else about daks shoulder, if he lands on that thing this next season or two and you just broke the bank on him. They need to make sure that won’t be a hinder before they sign.
