Gilbert is an arena league QB. If he’s the backup, then the team is basically dumping if Prescott goes down again.
@Anti you want to keep him as the backup. That’s you. Just as I’m sure you were swooning over dinucci or rush or whatever other scrub they trot out who homer fans want to overhype. I had no problems with getting a veteran like Dalton as a backup. But demanding I give you a name after Dallas went comatose in securing a backup and after all the FAs are gone? How about, they should have done that weeks ago? Answer the question. Because, they don’t spend wisely and identify potential contributors at key positions until everything implodes.

But they went on an 11 – 0 run/13 – 3 overall regular season record
I just feel the guy deserves a shot at the backup position
In no way am I saying he’s good enough…
