*Agreed….I Just DON’T understand the hate for this pick. Getting out arses kicked up and down the field on defense. Picked the BEST defensive player and GOT an ADDITIONAL Pick and then Cowboys fans: “We Should Have Drafted Slater!” WTF??? So I guess we will look to next years draft to address the defense then. I swear people are NEVER Happy…SMDH*
Yes, it starts with being strong up the middle….we have so many options for CB/S ….can’t wait to see what this draft class can do!
Just a thought tho… If the Cowboys drafted Slater they still coulda had Jabril Cox in the third or fourth round
@CDoG 13 yes I hear what you are saying…but you really can’t say that…once one thing changes, so does the entire draft…clearly, they did not prefer Slater….seems like they wanted OL with long arms and felt Osa gave them that in the 3rd. Let’s hope for the best here

@Brian Daniel No, I dont. I am just going off of all the scouting reports I have read and heard. That diagnosing plays was a weakness to his game. Thats why I said… “IF he can learn hiw to” I didnt say that he couldn’t. I am holding out hope at this point. I know he is a hell of an athlete, with all the physical tools, I just hope Quinn and Co. Can coach him up. No need to get salty.
