@Ricky Webster I say put Pickett in too. That way he can sit with TJ on the sidelines for the rest of the year. He’s not taking first unit reps. If you guys know what’s so good for the team why are you not coaching it then? I’m going to take a wild stab here and say that coach T might know just a tad bit more than all the sofa coordinators on this site 😂 if you think you can do better then have at it. Ask the Rooneys for a job. Otherwise let Tomlin do his and support the team win lose or tie. When the Veterans of the team make it known that trust Trubisky that’s what will work best for the team. But idk maybe y’all have more experience than coach T and should ask for his resignation 😂 the team is damned if they do and dammed if they don’t. I think I’ll just see what the coaching staff does and support the team no matter what.

@Ricky Webster oh about the stats, Ben had several games like that over the past couple of years after breaking his elbow. Who did you blame them? And Ben was turning the ball over a lot. Yeah Trubisky was brought in to manage the team not gun sling and if coach T thought Pickett could handle that don’t you think Pickett would have started? Or do you feel Tomlin is too incompetent to make those types of decisions? I mean I want the Steelers to win every game and for them win super bowls but y’all set the bar too high. If Pickett would have folded today you’d be whining with the rest of em 😂 there’s no pleasing y’all. I say good win and let’s keep going with what’s working until it doesn’t work anymore. Steelers weren’t even supposed to cover and they win on the road. Let that sink in with your “we COULD have killed em” but we didn’t, we won.

@Ricky Webster any loss of a starter is huge for us because we don’t have depth. That’s the whole purpose of the rebuild. You do know the Steelers are rebuilding right? Heyward has couple years left at best and TJ probably has 3-4 years left in his prime. By then Pickett will either have stepped up or stepped out. There’s no guarantee that he will be another Ben.

@John-Thomas: Manion., beneficiary It was a low scoring game fir two good teams. I think the defense did pretty good on both sides. The steelers defense had what for interceptions. It the offense would have scored tds on those takeaways , the score would look a whole lot different. But I get what your saying though because it was such a close game.

This how we were 1st week last year against bills .. and had the same result we won but suffered significant injuries

@Hans Landa Honestly…I see flashes of L. Bell & J. Conner when it comes to the Najee injury. I hate that Najee reinjured his foot, but I think the quickness and decisiveness of Warren can be a benefit to our run game. Like I said, it reminds me of when Conner came in for Bell and the run game was all downhill. I think Warren will give us that same edge. Wishing Najee, TJ, & Wallace a speedy recovery because we are going to need them all to make this run successful.

@keilan campbell I agree. Canada is on the hot seat this year. However, poor mechanics by the QB didn’t help. Mitch needs to climb the pocket and keep his eyes downfield. He ran when he should have thrown the ball and forced some throws he could’ve ran. He and Canada have got to know the situation and stop throwing the short of the line-of-gain on 3rd down, expecting our guys to make a move.

If they cannot see Trebisky‘s ceiling was reached he’s not going to get any better his accuracy is not professional watch Kenny‘s accuracy all last year and in a preseason is professional his ceiling is higher also it was terrible coaching on the office if you asked me when they had a ball in the fourth quarter from turnovers the playcalling was terrible they ran a curl route on the third down and nine I believe There’s so many easier passes to give you a chance to get them 9 yards or they could’ve ran a draw on a Kohler route you have to get it over the line and it Hass to be perfectly timed on the curl or could be intercepted or Tipton the air terrible coaching on the office outside I don’t care what nobody says and we don’t live in our fears they put the better quarterback in the game is how I feel

@Maurice Scott I agree that the play calling in the red zone was horrible. Execution was worse. Cincy has deceit height in the secondary, 5-11, 6-0, 6-1, & 6-1 respectively BUT we can go BIGGER with Pickens 6-3, Claypool 6-4, Boykin 6-4, Freiermuth 6-5, & Gentry 6-8. This could be a group that could make any QB successful in the red zone..

@enigma amgine oh for sure we should have lost it we had 5 turn overs but only scored 23 points. I just can’t pile on Mitch when so many other things went wrong
