need to be better and prepared for the saints

Nate Smeltzer

CLINT HURTT, DO BETTER🙏

    206legend

    Simple

Nathan Wise

I trust this man to pull the squad together. Installing a new system is tough. The accountability is there and the growing pains will pass.

    Submerged

I really hope you’re only joking.

    Nathan Wise

@Submerged don’t have time for your negativity in my life. Go Hawks!

marcus reaves

I had high hopes but the results have been the same if not worse than Nortons defense.

    Don't@Me

Alot of money and high draft picks invest on that side yet we’re trash

206legend

We need a legit SS And LB that can cover the pass or passing zones..!! Should’ve brought in Joe Schobert and Landon Collins is still available. And u gotta get guys in there who can stay on assignments

    Nathan Wise

I cried when we let Minkah go to the Steelers and signed Adams instead. He’s electric, i get the move, there was no injury history, but i felt like we were trying to replace Earl instead of Kam.

    Nate Smeltzer

Joe Schobert is a fucking beast, he has a high iq on reading offenses and man doesn’t miss tackles, he’s an instant upgrade to Cody Barton rn and honestly he could be a new commander on defense if we brought him in

    Nathan Wise

@Nate Smeltzer i don’t know him! (Seahawks and saints homer) I’d take KJ tomorrow and replace Barton with him.

    Nate Smeltzer

@Nathan Wise lol next Sunday is gonna be a funday for you sir 😂💚💙

    Nathan Wise

@Nate Smeltzer not really. I’m a Saints AND a Seahawks fan till they play against each other. Then my Hawk side dominates. I’m gonna be making muffalettas for halftime though.

Jb

Our players are making Clint hurtt look bad missing tackles is not the coaches fault

    Submerged

    Are you serious?

Relax Gaming

This guy is worse then Norton. And no one bringing it up. He doesn’t even take any responsibilities for poor coaching or tackling.

    Submerged

    Facts.

    Anthony Negron

A lot of rookies. And people in new spots. Got to give them time to approve. That happens
Actually a lot more potential in this Defense

We won the Russ trade but should have kept Bobby at least 1 more year to help QB the Defense then last year

    Seahawksfan420

I mean when you have 2 rookie corners you obviously aren’t gonna start good lol. You could be the best d coordinator and they’d still not look good

Jo-Nathan Thomas

Cody Barton and Josh Jones have been playing well below par!

I like Ryan Neal a lot better than Jones!…

I don’t know what they can do about Barton, but his awareness and angles are a problem; AND it’s affecting Brook’s play as well 🫤

Cameron Robinson

Get them dialed in coach!! We need’em!!! Let’s Get It Hawks!!! #Hawks4Life 💚💪🏾👊🏾💯💙

robert fasolo

This defense is horrible. Change back to a 4-3 base immediately.
We need QB pressure and stops up front. If we had a marquee D lineman it would be a different story.

    Nathan Wise

    Yeah, that’s gonna help….

Dean Dee

IMO till everyone is up to speed, match speed for speed for now, regardless until things gel just to plug some of those massive holes, and the obvious, stick to your post, don’t abandon your job unless of course it’s a tackle beyond the LOS, to see 2 3 defenders running past the LOS unabated while offensive linemen are standing there is pretty hard to swallow at this level.. offensive line zones? dunno but man, and with all the criticizing I guess i’d me remiss to not point out any of the good stuff cuz there is a LOT from every single player, and that does make up to a degree but still like to be able to wear a Hawks jersey in public…

Daytimerocker

we gotta let Desai run the show a bit more and help Hurtt. Also lets sign some proven talent at SS, LB, DE, we got the cap space!

    Michael Centalonza

Hurtt is the DC, not Desai. He’s in charge or in reality Pete will always be in charge.
I agree, they should bring in some veteran talent, the only problem is what kind of talent is available now?

Tapeni Suiaunoa

You got this coach! Go Hawks!

Tapeni Suiaunoa

Glad to hear you’re all invested in Ryan Neal. One of the TDS at the end of the game was clearly a pick but the second he probably could have prevented.
Says the “armchair DE” lol 🤙🏽

Thomas Schuster

So nobody wanna ask about the linebackers and why Barton looks like he’s playing with his eyes closed?

Ghannos

Seems like we need a great strong safety to make our defense work, no matter the scheme.

Defender Of Logic

People forget that a lot of players on this defense are young. There are times when you see growth. But there are also times when you see a lack of NFL experience.

Ali Ahmad Bilal

I was hoping that there could be an improvement with you coach but unfortunately it is getting worse

Dio Brando

I hope they get this defense situation figured out there are some bright spots but a lot of missed tackles and sometimes lack of effort
