An excellent well rounded presser. You clinch a single games in OT and it’s a COMPLETELY different story. It shouldn’t have gotten to that point and it is never one person. I’m glad he didn’t go nuclear in his Twitter feels and started making rash decisions like he’s in a video and could delete and start a new franchise file. I think the offense finds it groove with a full offseason and a couple weapons. This year was weird with COVID and injuries, yet the Colts still ended the year with a winning record with a bunch of winnable games that could have gone either way. As a season ticket holder, I am pumped for next year, another year passed COVID with everyone familiar with new surroundings, players, and hopefully coaches and most importantly with a clear indication on what needs to be done, as a UNIT. I am way more interested in the long term potential than the short term disappointment as I do not plan on not seeing that stadium for many years to come. #INDY #ForTheShoe #GoColts

    Joshua Fischer

Chris Ballard is such a good GM, I trust him and his process. The players he has brought us has been amazing. Great owner and leadership in the entire staff up and down.

Oussama Mahat

Chris keeps himself hydrated! You’ve got to give him that 😂

    VIEWS FROM THE TRIS

@Tyler Yea. I know I chew gum a lot when I’m nervous but we’re human lol. Can still get tuff jobs done through nerves

    Alex Neville

    What’s he drinking? Jw

    Justin Hedden

Every presser he be chuggin a bottle of water in between each question lol

    Alex Neville

@Justin Hedden right I meant the white bottle. Haven’t lived in the States in 4 years and jw if it was something new. Man I’m I would have had to get up and use the bathroom as much as he chugged this time. I know he’s always staying hydrated

    M Walker

Kind of “over the top” as he would say.

Jace Bartley

Ballard is the man. I think his only mistake was letting Frank influence his QB decision.

    Live4 Christ

@Samuel Colby those are your opinions. Facts validated by stats and your opinion are completely different

    Samuel Colby

@Live4 Christ the stats are our pressure numbers allowed by the LT and pressured forces by Kwity. Unfortunately both back up my opinion

    Live4 Christ

@Samuel Colby Kwity was named to PFF’s All Rookie Team. You need to check your stats.

    Samuel Colby

@Live4 Christ that doesn’t mean he was getting persistent pressures that actually impacted the game in big moments but ok guy

    Paralyzedable

@Samuel Colby kwity definitely played decent for a rookie. Slow first half better 2nd half of the season. To say kwity didnt play good is false. He will continue to grow

You Will Be OK

If there was ever a layup in football, it would’ve been that Jacksonville game!

    You Will Be OK

    @Chad Grant overlooking & lack of focus = #missedlayup

    Sexton Hardcastle

@Chad Grant When I played basketball in middle school, we were 1-6 going into the tournament and we ended up making it to the championship game where we lost 48-42. I have no idea where that came from, our team was awful.

    Tom Ray

@Chad Grant Jacksonville has beat the colts while being the worst team in the league for years. The colts are typically losers and that is just the way it is. I am a lifetime colts fan but I don’t pretend they are better than they are.

    Ayy_Yoo_Q

    Amen

    Bars In The Tuck

No such thing as a layup in the NFL. Any given Sunday, anyone can be beat.

Diehard Outdoors

Thanks JT! And the defense! And pitman JR those boys played balls off!

    Trey Jefferson

The defense was off and on all year

Alex Snider

I’m confident in Chris Ballard to get this team to where it needs to go. Colts need continuity at QB. Still haven’t recovered from Luck’s retirement.

    David Edwards

    Last response, enough excuses…. Figure it out… a bunch of excuses… it’s week 19 we’re sitting at home… be f’in real

    Alex Snider

@David Edwards Could not agree more. They need to find an answer at QB.

    Paralyzedable

Could get Russell wilson. He might be able to save us

    TheBoyyWonder100

We should of tanked this year and the year Luck retired and we would of had a qb. Smh

    Krispywho

Im hoping Ballard makes a miracle happen and drafts bryce young in 23

Derrick Johnson

I’m very disappointed, but I know my Colts can bounce back stronger.

Indy Custom Made

I think Ballard is a great GM. I like what he is trying to do and the players he is getting. It’s so hard to keep thinking if we had this QB or that QB and having the team we have today it would look so different right now. If Manning had a team like this he could have taken us to more Superbowls. I have never felt like we couldn’t throw like I have this season. Wentz is a good athlete, can run the ball, and has a strong arm. His decision making is very poor. I don’t know if you can correct that at this stage. We will see.

    Tyrail Dotson

Manning flop so much in the playoffs it’s absurd for you to say such a thing, his win lost record is 14-13, The tandem of Addai and Rhodes helped Indy beat the bears he shouldn’t have won super bowl mvp, he threw a costly pic to Tracy porter vs Saints that resulted in a Super bowl lost, was absolutely blitz against Seattle which he had 2 interceptions , his final year he was dismal even bench but the Broncos was still able to win that Super bowl, Peyton has thrown an interception in every super bowl he’s been in, I’ve been a Colts fan since ‘99 Peyton has brought me great joy, sadness and fits of rage

    Jason Williams

Cowboys fan disclaimer. I call him Larson Wince from his time in Philthadelphia. He had one great season in 2017, he’s done in Indy and I think his career may be over if he’s let go. A 5 year vet didn’t want to compete with a rookie, that’s all you need to know about Wince.

    Frank L

I wouldn’t say great. He’s been good, but his rosters have the same holes every year it seems.

    Tyrail Dotson

@Frank L What holes? And every year?

Sef Jenkins

Only disagreement is his stance on the WR core. We have to get a WR1, and slide MPJ to WR2

    Bars In The Tuck

Correct, we need that guy that defenses MUST game plan against. Pittman is an elite #2 behind the right #1.

    kingKamanakai

Bro im agree 💯 mpj is just as inconsistant as carson wentz. So many missed opportunities to shine but ue just drops too many passes.

    Sean Morales

    EXACTLY

YouTube Curates Content, algorithm is a lie

TY was probably the most athletic WR in the league in terms of hands, precision route running, and an uncanny ability to know how and when to tap two feet in bounds.

His highlight reel of toe taps is better than anyone in the league. His lack of physical size was his only flaw.

The Colts have a tall order to replace his reliable brilliance. And Michael Pitman Jr and Pascal just aren’t fast enough to compensate for their poor hands.

I’d take a receiver with great hands over a fast and tall receiver that can’t catch the ball, every day of the week. TY had hands that made up for his lack of size.

    Diehard Outdoors

Your nuts pitman JR is a WR1 he go play with Stafford in LA he get 100 yards every week

Steve Demir

Imagine if Frank could put his pride away and let Brady call the plays on gamedays.

    J Morris

Will that ever happen? EGO is a fragile thing, lol!

    Yassiah

Marcus Brady was so bad this year that our running back coach is getting looks for oc in Carolina

Chris Jolly

It’s hard to fix a QB in year 7 or whatever it has been. He’s slow going through progressions, locks onto receivers at times, is more of a game manager who tries to play hero ball etc etc. I hated the Wentz trade from the start but I tried giving him a chance. That move is on Frank and it has set us back 2 years potentially beyond getting a Rodgers in here or something

    Bravo13

I agree. Wentz is an average quarterback that can’t make the plays to win games.

    J Morris

Problem was…no “Rodgers” types(or even close) were within any reach the Colts had. That’s why this trade went down in the first place .

    Chris Jolly

@J Morris I wanted Stafford or Carr the year before. I’d have rather rolled either Jacoby than give a 1st and 3rd for someone else’s problem. The Eagles as a team always seemed to play better when he got hurt. They made the playoffs without him after picking in the top 10

    Yassiah

Maybe win the season opener all the teams that are left in the playoffs won their season opener excluding maybe the Chiefs

    Chris Jolly

@Yassiah That would be great to not start off 0-1, 0-2, 1-4 etc.

Mike G in Carmel IN

:This isn’t a long term topic…Ballard has accumulated a hellava roster. Pro-bowlers. All pro’s. The pieces are here and in the NFL the window isn’t open long. We gotta win now. All these studs are going to get big contracts somewhere. I believe in Ballard.

Boro Ben

This teams needs to not only preach accountability, but exercise it. Our coaches have failed us for the past few years when the team shows up flat, or plays poorly to start the season on a consistent basis. Hopefully Ballard and Irsay recognize this, and hold these coaches and players accountable.

    J Morris

    No doubt about that!

OddBigKing

I really appreciate the accountability from Chris Ballard!!!

DunkmasterXXL

Ballard has done GREAT , Carson needs weapons and taught how to make checkdowns .
We need a true #1 WR , and a new CB .

    J Morris

    Agreed!

    Paul Egger

And WHO’S going to rush the QB with all of our 33 SACKS.

    Mr. Obvious

Exactly this! I would add a proven veteran pass rusher as well for next season as Kwity and Dayo continue to develop

brandon orie

This is why Ballard is the man and still knows what he’s doing, he manned up and called it as it is an embarrassment but I gotta listen to frank reich say we played a very talented Football team out there.. no we didn’t you decided to let Carson win the game in a must win and it backfired and confirmed everything we believed about wentz

    Bars In The Tuck

I believed Wentz is good. I still do.

Bars In The Tuck

When talking about our best playmakers with run after catch skills, the first name mentioned was Nyheim Hines. The next name was Pascal. If that doesn’t scream “We need a WR1” I don’t know what does.

    blue pigeon

    preach!

Chris

I was in Jacksonville for our last game. 4 rows up in the south end zone. Most embarrassing loss I’ve ever seen. Half thier fans dressed as clowns 🤡

    Mike Kelso. Jr

I live in Jacksonville and wearing my Colts stuff is embarrassing !!! 👎

Kevin Tross

I can’t believe my Bears let him walk out of the building without a job 7 years ago. I wish my Bears had a GM like Mr.Ballard

GoldenEraHipHopForever

If I’m Chris Ballard, this is what I’m going to do this off-season.

– See if a team would be willing to acquire Wentz even if it’s for a 3rd round pick.

– Trade for Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers

– Sign Chris Godwin or Davante Adams

– Sign Stephon Gilmore

NFL Draft

RD 2 LT Nicholas Petit-Frere Ohio State

RD 2 David Bell WR Purdue

RD 3 Desmond Ridder QB Cincinnati

    Irena Hagan

We don’t need Chris Godwin or Davante Adams we have Pittman Jr Campbell Dulin Patmon Strachan who is damn good of an wide receivers Dulin had 13 catches 2 touchdowns 173 yards 10 1st downs with a total of 12 1st downs with 3 carries for 32 yards Dulin just need more minutes on the field Campbell 10 catches 1 touchdown for 162 yards Patmon had 2 catches 1 touchdown 26 yards he just need more snaps Mike Strachan 2 catches 26 yards he’s just need more snaps we have a very good solid wide receivers core with Pittman Jr Campbell Dulin Patmon Strachan these our solid great wide receivers core pieces

    GoldenEraHipHopForever

@Irena Hagan TF you mean we don’t need Chris Godwin or Davante Adams? 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

    Irena Hagan

@GoldenEraHipHopForever Like I said we don’t need none of them we have Pittman Jr Hilton Campbell Pascal Dulin but Hilton and Pascal won’t be back we will have Pittman Jr Dulin Patmon Campbell Strachan this is a good wide receivers core
