Just your typical Chargers season. Loads of talent but continue to underachieve. I think that’s the Charger’s business plan.
People keep saying the Chargers have loads of talent. I think that is a huge exaggeration. They have very average talent at D line, linebacker, corner, and the right side of the O line. And they have zero depth.

Spanos family… it is now go time. You have a QB to not only make the playoffs but to go after Super Bowls. If you don’t feel you are going to use every resource possible to accomplish this, sell the team to someone that will.
I will be a charge fan for 48 years for the 22,23 season , I saw the Chargers last team meeting of the season , after the lost to the raiders. I never watch any YouTube videos of the chargers after a lost. But for some reason I came on it and I press play , why I don’t know, but I am so glad that I did. If you haven’t seen it and your a true Charger fan for life, I not Goin to ask you to watch it . I am telling you to watch it , you will love your team more then you ever have . I going to tell fellow charger fans put a smile on your face cause this team is going to win the super Bowl next year. COACH I question you. And I owe you a apologize to you. I wasn’t at those meetings when WE lost. That won’t happen again . To all Charger players I know we Charger fans are all very proud of y’all . And now I want to start the fan in the family all in club . COACH, and Coaches and player and Tom we got you back we win together we loose together we all together doing it are way . Chargers need to tackle better
I think everyone is looking at the WR money issue incorrectly…Yes, re-signing Mike would be a lot of money, but really only for 1 or 2 years (& the cap is expected to JUMP in a year 2 w/ new TV deals)…Keenan has been AMAZING, but he isn’t young…and the Chargers can cut him after the ’22 season w/ only a small cap hit. Then WR isn’t expensive when Mike is the only highly paid player there.
The other thing is, the Chargers will be able to cut Bulaga & save $10m more for ’22…so they’re gonna have well in excess of $80m cap space.
I agree as good as and unfortunately as unproductive Bulaga was this year we need to save the money and move on from him to invest the extra money into our forsure assets(hence Mike will💪)

If they don’t draft a Cb till round 3 they need to find one in free agency or trade
So painful this year.I knew the AFC was up for grabs this year,and watching Cincy do what we should have been doing ,makes it that .much .worse.
And it’s all because we lost that damn game to Houston. All I know is I’m watching the Bills and Chiefs putting on a show and i was just thinking that Herbert should be having this level of opportunity. I’m tired of this with this team. They get a sniff of success and then collapse. When there are no expectations they rise up, but it’s never quite enough. I hope they dont waste Herbert’s career like this did Rivers.
Look on the bright side. At least not being in the playoffs gives Justin time to prepare for the Pro Bowl!

50 year Charger fan here. I got to watch them play in old Balboa Stadium. Always the same old story, wait till next year with this team. Success starts at the top with a commitment to win it all and this team has never had that and may never will. They have wasted a hell of a lot of QB talent through the years and I hope to god this doesn’t happen to Justin Herbert. This guy is amazing!! But I feel sorry for him because this team will probably never win a Super Bowl because it’s such a weak screwed up organization. Come on Chargers prove me wrong!! I dare ya!!!

Las Vegas Raiders loss at the end of the season with playoffs implications was horrible and now the Rams making it to the NFC championship game magnified things.
Not acceptable for us Chargers fans.
