Been a fan since 2005 and let me tell you the bandwagon fans have been appearing since Mack trade … I’m glad we are finally getting recognition I just hate that some “fans” know nothing about the team! Some fans never knew they were San Diego chargers

    Rick Peterson

The Chargers will beat the Buccaneers at Super Bowl 57!!!

Pro Sports Outlook

Herbert has played great in his first two seasons! Year 3 should be his best one yet!

    J

Yup, this is the first time Herbert has had the same offense two years in a row since high school. Looking forward to a great year.

    Noel Q

    Agreed ! 5200 pass yds 43 tds
    350 rush yds 4 tds

    Zac Noel

Love being a Charger fan. Always underrated. Herbert is the best QB in NFL. Never thought I find a favorite over Rivers…

Ceez B

Super bowl bound, book it! 💯

this team is looking pretty good😎

Prince BUD5280

Are the chargers doing another season of ALL IN or what are they gonna call it either way wanna see something like that again love this team #boltupchargernation #chagerboltfam4life

    ESN

I’m pretty sure they are. They did an episode this offseason highlighting our moves so I can only imagine a new episode will drop closer to the season

J

Yes, the receivers had a lot of drops. But in their defense Herbert throws 95 mile an hour fast balls. Dude’s got a M777 cannon arm.

    Randall Turner

Dammit. My point is we dropped the ball this season, yes. BUT the SAME GUYS the PREVIOUS YEAR, Herbert’s rookie year, caught it fine! So, it can’t be velocity! (Or not exclusively anyway.)

Edit: guys sorry wasn’t clear, I’m thinking of 2021 as “this year”, upcoming season as “next”, etc.

    Alex2076

@Randall Turner its never gonna be the qbs fault for a drop unless he threw a horrendous ball or spiral.

    Joffy Joffa

@Randall Turner I was about to say the same thing 2020 it wasn’t a problem now they blame it on his arm. Not to mention how many of them were not even thrown hard I can think of a hand full of them off hand.

    Randall Turner

@Alex2076 neh, generally true, but not absolutely, for instance this video.. second play starts :24 bounces off Ek’s hands for an interception, see :24 on…
    https://youtu.be/g0VXw9rpRvE
Bad placement, but Ek should have caught it anyway. (See slo-mo replay at the end.) Velocity played a part.

    Kyle Grunert

They went from 18 drops on 2020 to 28 in 2021 and I think it’s Herbert’s velocity because he got noticeable bigger. 7 of those drops last year came from Ekeler and Keenan had 8 I believe. But if you look at week 18 Herbert threw 2 bullets to both Palmer and Williams for huge touchdowns. These guys are gonna have to just get use to it

Craig Street

Moving forward over the next 10 years…drafting sure handed receivers will be extremely important..justin does throw hard…and 1 drop on 4th down..can ruin a season. You don’t need a Marlin Mccree and Troy Brown situation..1 drop could be just as lethal.

Rick Peterson

Great show guys ! Matt and Chris you guys do an excellent job and MMS not a shot at ya , you’re a Chargers legend but i feel that the drops situation is overstated ! Yes it was a serious problem but i feel a lot can be attributed to how hard 10 throws the ball, learning new routes , etc ! And you brought up the fact its very uncharacteristic for KA13 @matt money smith

Craig Street

Why did it take Tom Telesco a decade to get the line right….he killed phillip rivers.
17 didn’t average 2 seconds in the pocket because he wanted to….They were the most neglected position group by t.t. year in and out untill 21. If i was phill..t.t. isnt on my xmas list.⚡

    Collin Reilly

At least someone said it phil got robbed of 3 maybe more chips he is HOF regardless best of his draft class probably the most underrated QB of his generation

J

This is the first time Herbert has the same offense two years in a row since high school. Looking forward to a great year.

Highlighted Productions

I really like Joshua Palmer and am excited for this upcoming season with him however he had 4 drops on the final drive against the raiders after he caught the 4th & 21 TD.. so idk where the 1 drop stat came from lol

EJH

Top 5 O with alot of drops that will be cleaned up. Add Zion, Everett and Spiller which upgrades this 0 big time. The D was the reason why we didn’t make the playoffs. No excuses on D this year and I expect Staley to have a Top 10 D this YR! Bolt Up⚡️

Ryan Suter

I don’t know how last year drop rates compared to the year before or the year before that but getting used to the delivery and speed a Justin Herbert Could be a factor

nsn

I just love Matt’s tshirt collection. He has impeccable style 😅

Dontno Nowuno

Not gonna lie,I know we had the stats, but Lombardi still scares me with his play calling.Feel like play design needs to be more detailed in big situations.

Noel Q

I would love to see the starting O line be Slater – Zion -Linsley – Aboushi- Feiler .

Regardless our O Line is looking Beast 😎

Bolt Up ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Some Guy

I think the brutal week 18 loss to the Raiders woke up a sleeping giant. The Raiders are not gonna beat the Chargers again for a really long time.
