The Bears are playing this scrub. How far they’ve fallen.

    beastxxwar

cant really fall if they were never at the top LOL

Stackzz

This dude actually is good.. why hate on him?

    feamtortress2

He’s alright, not spectacular but has been in on a couple plays in the limited playing time he has

    johnny six

Huh what u seen from him that was good

beastxxwar

When he said “the bears is a great organization” that stings. Because this organization has been showing, top down, on the field, off the field, in EVERY WAY FOR DECADES that it is not a great organization. It is a money maker for the McCaskey’s and its sad growing up a bears fan only to realize as an adult how much of a joke this organization is and to learn they dont care much about football or winning, only about money, as a fan of the game, that really sucks. Do better bears. Sell the team if you cant.

Beast… Your response is so authentic that I can almost feel your frustration. But, the one thing that I always notice with the complaints of disgruntled fans is the conflating of the actual.areas of responsibility within an NFL franchise (I blame the media, because they are the ones that encourage this silliness).
I agree Bears’ fans are owed a winning team, or, to be more precise, an honest effort to deliver a winning team. And, I believe that’s exactly what they’re getting.
But, winning in any pro sport is not an easy thing to do.
You say that fans deserve accountability. And, this is where we part company. Here’s why:
You can’t run an NFL franchise by a majority vote. Ownership has its privileges.
Do the McCaskeys run the Bears in a stilted, cumbersome manner? Yes. They’re old fashioned. They’re not nouveau riche; but they’re not quite old money, either. They are awkward. But , so what? Khalil Mack’s paychecks clear every week, without problem. The Fam pays its bills — and they are significant.
But, Ms. Virginia doesn’t end up in strip-mall massage parlors. Ted Phillips has never driven a car 156 mph, let alone, killed someone. And, George isn’t using racist tropes in daily conversations and e-mails.”The Fam” does its best to stay out of the spotlight — They are not Jerry Jones (thank God).
Rather than looking back 20, 30 or 50 years, let’s go back seven. In 2015, Ryan Pace was hired. Today, every player on the roster is a Pace selection (except Pat O’Donnell). It’s not a perfect roster — but compare it with the other teams in search of a new head coach this year, and it looks like the landing spot that I would choose, if I were the top prospect (fill in a name).
Just to flesh all this out: How would you feel if the Bears signed Sean Peyton to be their head coach — at the end of this season? Wouldn’t that be enough of a positive move to allay your most pressing concerns? It would for me.

    beastxxwar

@Thomas Gena I don’t disagree with all that you’ve said, and I’d be perfectly happy with ownership if we had better plan and better coaching that didn’t make the team look foolish every single week. The bears look confused on the field from a coaching perspective, very frequently. So yes, if we had someone like Sean Peyton, a proven and experienced coach who knows how to get the best out of his players and keep it simple when he needs to, it would make me happy temporarily. I’d still want to see his results on the field but somehow I just don’t see them doing something like that. My issues, obviously are more with the coaching than the ownership, but I feel that it’s an extension of ownership to have a coach that doesn’t seem to have a clue what’s going on out there, over and over again. And I’m not the owner, of course, but i wish ownership may be a bit more able to step in and get set a good football culture into the lockerroom and make it clear that when the culture or identity of the team is missing its embarrassing for the ownership and they need to step in accordingly. That’s just my unwarranted opinion though, as I obviously don’t own the team. It’s just frustrating to see fans seemingly care more than owners because if I was an owner I would have been in Matt Nagy and Ryan paces office many times this year saying if you don’t quit your nonsense, coachspeak, used car salesmen gobbledygook, you’re fired. I know a hands on approach from ownership can be bad (i.e, Jerry jones), but sometimes I think it’s necessary. Obviously, I don’t know what is said behind closed doors, but Matt Nagy and Ryan pace have been questionable with the media for their entire tenure and it’s frustrating as a bears fan to be screaming at the TV every time they talk their nonsense lol. Anyway, thanks for the thoughtful responses!

    @beastxxwar
    I feel your pain.
Let’s get that new coaching staff in place and see how that works out. I think we’ll be fine.

Cassius is a fellow spell slinger mage

Kyle Vaughn

To those saying he’s a bum don’t watch the game. He’s not a all star pro bowler by any means but, he’s a very good sub in. Got injured line backer? Throw him out there, he can cover decent enough and has size for TEs. Heavy biltz? He’s got speed for the gap play on either side

    johnny six

I watch ever game and he ant doing nothing

Chris Tragedia

Better then danny

    johnny six

    Huh

alwaysintrouble 2

Actually in a “D” rated movie he can play Thor.

Frank Zepeda

You get your chance put one on Rodgers for me man. I don’t think it was the right call either just make sure this one is clean but clean his clock rock out dude.🐾🏈🐻 Bring the Defense.

CoffeeeNGames

I like dude

John Smith

and by “turn down other teams” this bum means he never had a single call by anyone except the Bears. He makes poor decisions on the field and he is just one more of Ryan Pace’s poor signings. The Patriots couldn’t coach him and if you can’t thrive in their system you aren’t NFL caliber player. Hopefully he goes back to playing with his Yu-GI-Oh cards full time after this season is done.

KP

Amazing the hate he’s getting in these comments. Did people expect a
pro-bowler to be on the street for the Bears to pick up?? My fellow
Bears fans are embarassing sometimes. He’s a solid sub linebacker, made
a heads up play to sack Big Ben, and gives us depth that we need right
now. Glad you’re here Cassius

Donovan Walker

Anyone saying he’s a bum is just exposing that 1. They aren’t watching the games and 2. They know nothing about football πŸ˜‚

Habeev07

Cant wait to see Cash Cards Unlimited out on the field.
