I do believe baker is the guy, but if he isent, I can be happy with Keenum. Stefanski was his qb coach his year he played elite. And keenum wont be terrible. Keenum never has played terrible he is average but not bad. And with our offense, keenum is competent enough to run the offense and get some W’s
< I think he still can and will be too..either way we'll find out this season under Stefanski. Its a good setup. An extremely knowledgeable, experienced coach who is fundamentally sound and even tempered. His offense really plays into Baker's strengths, too i.e. checkdowns and using TEs frequently. We wont be having 4 WRs running the same deep patterns every play all the while having a porous line every play.
Luke Kempke I agree I might prefer him over baker if baker plays like last year, now granted we have no line. But baker stunk it up last season.

He ran the Air-raid offense in college, this kid can ball especially when surrounded by skilled players with speed just like we have here in Cleveland. He proved it in Minnesota under our new coach. Is he here to push Baker or replace him?

Case may end up are starter. This will make baker play so much better he needs competition, he has had none. Now he does, so I’m sure he really started working after getting case
So, what we learned from this is = Fans, DO NOT CHEER B4 THE D GETS THERE.
I am calling this now this guy will end up the starter and baker will be second what I would do I would play both of them along with the fb and both Chubb and Hunt.

This is a perfect culture shock for the Browns, from chaos last yr to a disciplined organization.
Keenum is another quality individual that will help Baker make the next move up.
Last yr Baker sucked, but I think mostly because of the coaching staff.
That was some of the worst play calling I ever saw, the only team worse was Matt Nagy and the Bears.
So, it seems unfair to blame it all on Baker, even though his stats were abysmal.
Now, it’s put up or shut up time this season.
From Haslam to the water boy, this group is ready to move up the food chain, with or without Baker.
Let’s hope Mayfield can make the transition to top ten QB.
Personally, I think he’s a bust, him and OBJ both will be gone after this season, imho, but:
