Defense and defensive coaching was atrocious and cost them the game 13 damn seconds smh.

I screamed and threw myself on the floor.

The bills defense FAILED!!! Only 13 secs left in the game. Make a play!!!! I’m a long time Bills fan here they just ripped my Heart out!!

The defense had absolutely no juice from what I saw. Im sorry but Josh did everything he could to win this game! Chiefs 13 seconds 45 yards against #1 defense..horseshit! I hate to say this but the defense cost us the game! Also the Chiefs held the ball 24 minutes longer than we did! Defense couldnt get off the field!

Why rush 4 at the end? For what point? There was no time to even rush? You barelt rush 2 or 3 put everyone in coverage jam kelce and hill of the line and they run out of time…total defensive coaching failure

And I love how people today are talking about changing the overtime rule there’s nothing wrong with the overtime rule play better in the last 13 seconds and it would have never went to overtime this is coming from a Bills fan maybe we should be upset the just said Tails instead of heads right game 7 ever went to overtime but again just like when we left 30 seconds for the Cardinals last season we couldn’t get off the field or stop them from winning the game

I like hearing Tasker’s take on everything; mostly, his knowledge on player reaction and how this game will play on the mind. I was texting to friends and family in WNY as the game was playing. Some things I questioned as they occurred; and continued to occur: Why did the offense continue wasting running plays with Motor after it was apparent the KC had it figured out? One of the best DB’s in the NFL (Mathieu) was out of the game on the 1st series; why didn’t the O immediately exploit some down field passes? Instead, they passed several times to the left, behind the line of scrimmage (I think Allen avg’d less than 3 yards per pass attempt in the 1st half). Why has Frazier never drilled into the heads of the lineman and LB’s, that you don’t follow/chase Mahomes; you’re not going to catch him. Maintain containment, and if he breaks, take the angle and allow help to come…stop trying to be the person that is going to catch him (it’s rarely going to happen)…they also did that last year (against Mahomes and Murray/AZ). After the 1st drive; Allen was treated like a Rolls Royce and not allowed to be taken from the garage and driven in a NY pothole filled road. He was finally unleashed on the long pass in the 3rd. Why wasn’t a blitz dialed up once in a while? Tired of hearing that Mahomes would have made the Bills pay; really couldn’t have been any worse. Bill’s D did not show up. Poor tackling. If the offense had not played great at times (other than bookend scores in the 1st half, the offense was not that good in the 1st half); we’d be talking of Buffalo laying an egg. Poorly detailed play on special teams (I was yelling at the TV as the last kick in regulation was sent to the endzone instead of the 10 yard line). We make a big deal of KC going to FG range in 10 seconds to kick with 3 left. But, when you stop and think about it; several big single yardage plays occur in every game. D just didn’t rise to the occasion. Would have been a good coaching decision to have all the DB’s hold the receivers on the 1st down; would have ran 4-5 seconds off. Refs won’t add time back on unless a second obvious hold is done for the purpose of running off time. The game was equivalent to an NBA All Star game scoring fest; all O; poor D. Last; can we stop setting “goals”, and set “expectations? And the “expectation” that should be set, is that a successful season is a SB win. . Tasker 100% correct; may not win every game, but don’t be losing ones you shouldn’t (Jags, Titans, Steelers, even the TB game). Golden opportunity slipped from the Bills; they were healthy, playing very well (mostly), and you couldn’t have asked for more favorable games like the Bengals (at home) and then SF or LA.

Great game but Bills D will have a long long off season..Leslie Frazier you gotta win before becoming a head coach again!
