Maybe the opportunity to trade up wasn’t there. Both sides have to agree to a trade. Moving from 30 to the teens may have been a little costly. I think a 3rd and maybe a 5th would’ve been reasonable to move up to get CeeDee. Time will tell to see how he plays with Dallas and Jordan develops into the GOAT’s successor.
@EliteGaming sorry but Love wasn’t the best QB in his draft, no concrete indication that Jordan will be a franchise level talent. My problem is trading up to draft him when, imo, he would have been on the board with where we were at instead of trading up to the 26th pick. I feel bad for the kid because every mistake he makes in his time under center will be amplified because of the front office’s choice to trade up. Either way we have 12 and that is what matters. @EliteGaming The only offense we have drafted in the 1st round since Aaron Rodgers is Jordan Love.. A 1st round receiver in any year would be nice. But I don’t blame brian. I blame mark murphey cause you know he the one who signed off on this.
This draft was absolutely stacked with wideouts this year. I kinda expected us to get KJ Hamler from TCU. he’s basically tyreek hill. But that being said it could be a breakout year for the current WR’s. Year two in the system, they’re all healthy, etc. maybe it was a sign of faith
