Braxton Jones: ‘Master the little things every day’ | Chicago Bears – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Sir_Games_A_Lot

I really like this pick. Intelligent, well spoken, and a hard worker that plays to the whistle.

    cni plus

I’m hoping he works out… I know we Bears fans say this every year but I really like what they did this draft. I wanted them to select, Watson or Alec but I can definitely get used to what VJJ could bring to the table. Braxton sounds very mature and already looks like a 🐻 they all do tbh. our secondary is young and set and Poles and co. did that quick. That FA pickup of Young if healthy was hella quiet and underrated

    Quadir Childs

    Well spoken smh

    Mr. Sciorty

@cni plus Well said. Us fans always seem to to put on the goggles after the draft but this one feels different. Poles seems to be the nut the blind squirrel finally found. This coaching staff is legit. 11 draft pics hasn’t happened in 14 years for the Bears. All of these new Bears have many glaring traits in common. Mature, intelligent, well spoken, charming and highly self motivated. With my goggles on they all seem like stars in the making. I know that can’t possibly be true but………..🤔
    BEAR DOWN!!!

    cni plus

@Mr. Sciorty lol I can’t see the colors blue and orange out of my goggles either bro… but seriously you are right they all do seemingly have similar traits.. this secondary if healthy, in year one can be scary good

YoungDrizzy23

Well spoken and he has a great voice. Will be a treat listening to guys like him and Robert Quinn this season 🐻⬇️

    YoungDrizzy23

@Sam H well this is the start of the rookies’ season. This is the start of professional football for these guys. Whether you hear from this guy or any rookies during rookie minicamp, OTAs, Pre-season, training camp, or when the games start.. you get the point. Semantics bro. Nevertheless, in any capacity I look forward to hearing from Justin fields as well 🐻⬇️

    Mr. Sciorty

@Sam H You clearly are not a Bears fan, and if for some reason you actually are, you clearly grew up in a different state. If this kid is a stud, the Bears will prance him out there every week for the media to Gaga over with his superb charisma, charm, intelligence, and ability to precisely communicate with the people that are asking him what are ultimately amounted to STUPID questions. That was a stupid comment. Stop trolling Bears sites….

    Sam H

@Mr. Sciorty False on both fronts. I think you took my comment negatively when it wasn’t intended to be negative. My main point was JF1 will speak for the team the majority of the time. That’s all 🐻⬇️

    Mr. Sciorty

@Sam H My apologies. I stand corrected. There has been a lot of other teams fans that seem to have nothing but time on their hands to constantly troll Bears sites, and I apologize, I misunderstood you. Yes, JF1 will definitely be the face of the franchise but to clarify, Braxton is about as intelligent and well spoken a young man as I have ever seen speak at a rookie mini camp. If he just becomes a good starter the Bears will most definitely want him speaking to the media as much as possible. He’s a smart cookie. BEAR DOWN SAM!!!

    Sam H

@Mr. Sciorty 🐻⬇️ indeed bruddah ! You too YoungDrizzy. I like the direction our boys are headed. Let’s take the North & never give it back!!! 😭🙌💯

bayotte4

He has an Akeim Hicks vibe to him. A consummate professional at what he does and a strong relentless athlete.

    Sam H

Don’t disrespect Big Kiem like that – no one is on #96’s level

    SBC Burgos

@Sam H I get what bayotte4 was saying, it was no disrespect. Braxton Jones shows his passion for the game, and he’s a brainy dude, smart. It seems that he will catch on well to the playbook

Renee Kelly

I like him. Professional well spoken for a rookie

Bryght The Lyght

I’m so glad we got Braxton, I picked him in MULTIPLE mock drafts. And his name is the same as my brothers lol 🐻⬇️

    Rick Savaiano

Right on, I had him in my last draft too. Love his athleticism.

FRANZ DOREZA

Man, people need to chill about this draft.. and just because they didn’t do what you wanted, like many of us, that doesn’t mean they don’t card about those two positions.. They signed 4 OLs, and if two former OLs who run the team feel that they selected a group of players they can develop and hopefully make them worthy of a starting jobs, or skilled backups.. I especially like Braxton and Carter, but Thomas and Kramer also have potential..They also found some promising DBs in Elijah Hicks and Allie Green..Hicks is a turnover machine and Green is built like Sherman, tall and long, not a freak athlete just a very good football player with hybrid LB/S skills..

FRANZ DOREZA

He doesn’t speak like a rookie but more like a 5 year veteran..I won’t be surprised if he is an eventual starter. He ticks all the boxes so again.. I won’t be surprised.

    shaquille mcnair

    well he’s 25

Rick Savaiano

I really like the selection of Braxton Jones, I think he will be a special player. May not start this year but I believe he is the long term solution to LT.

bg147

He did a good job answering the question especially the last one. Not sure if he was being set up but I have always assumed lightness would be more of a a hindrance in the run game which favors big maulers.

PHILosophy 1990

My guy has a little Akiem Hicks charisma in him. I like it. I want to see what kind of monster he is on the field.

✊🏽🐻⬇️

Frank Zepeda

Great draft this man has a high IQ for the game and bettering his skill. Our first O-line pick looks great on tape think he’s got a lot up side. Welcome to CHICAGO BEARS 💯 BEAR DOWN very promising

Nathan Culp

It seems to me that not only does Ryan Poles like freak athletes in the draft but intelligent high character guys as well. This should help their development as players under good coaching

eldiablony274

Athletic , high character , team first guys is what I’m hearing across the board with these draftees. Perhaps raw with the later round guys, but a good vibe overall.

Eli

I like this kid. Can’t wait to watch him grow!

Lost Patriot

I love that we have drafted high character players, all of these young men have conducted themselves as professionals

Ozzie SancheZ

I like this guy, he’s a straight shooter. Seems pretty damn sharp!

Tasty FishSauce

I like this kid and his attitude. He is humble, confident, smart, self-disciplined and has a great overall approach to being a pro NFL player. He is not afraid to talk about the fight he had and can clearly see that he was disappointed that it had to happen on the field. If his approach and preparation traslate well into the field, he will be a gem.

joseung82

I really like listening to him. So analytical and and informative in his answers. Love it.

Trevor Barnes

I’m very excited to see this coaching staff work with these guys. This may have not been a “sexy” draft for the bears but I have a feeling that several of these players will be part of the foundation and core moving forward.
