Jones has elite traits as a left tackle

He’s gonna win the LT spot. I wanna see Borom play RG and Tevin at RT.

I like that in theory as well, we also gotta keep in mind that we’re blind to their development. I have confidence tho that Fields will have more time than last year… which is a looooow bar.
So hard to gauge Jenkins because he missed so much time last year. Hope he develops because we’ve invested extra in him.
Zack Thomas is goin to win the RG spot. Until next year when Whitehair is traded or released. Borom will be a swing tackle, 2nd string while Jenkins will start RT. Then maybe Borom will step up at RG. So from RT to LT will be in my opinion for this year is. Jones, Whitehair, Patrick, Thomas, Jenkins.
He could be our future
I have a sneaky suspicion that he is our LT longterm. He’s the only one on the team with the God given traits to be elite at the position, most of the other guys including the vets are lacking some of the gifts that only genetics can give… I’m rooting for him at LT, and Jenkins and Broom fighting it out in camp to see who fits best at RG & RT… 🐻⬇️

Neither Jenkins nor Borom is playing RG unless we have a rash of injuries. I agree with everything else
Borom at RT against I think Seattle allowed 2 sacks and 9 pressures in one game….
@rob daniel you have to remember their rookies and have to get used to the NFL . Hopefully they get the line straightened out by next year

This young man seems to be working on fine toning his game and skills. I think he’ll challenge for a starting position this season. I like he’s approach and willingness to game of football get that knowledge man. BEAR DOWN 💯 brother smart dude

Seems like a good kid. When the pads come on, that’s when Jenkins will pull away from some of these guys.
I’m rooting for Braxton! I think Poles really found a gem in Braxton Jones. Love his attitude and his thoughtful answers. He’s fired up and I can’t wait to see him start on the offensive line.
Love this guy ! Classy, smart, motivated, focused, humble, polite. He does look like he has to gain some tone mass a bit–but that will come–Bears appear to have a great wt program. I suspect the techniques he is being trained on are much more advanced as well. Another reason why I think he has a great opportunity–as his ceiling is probably much higher ! Go Braxton !! Go Bears !

How the hell was this guy a 5th round pick? I know I’m not a scout but sometimes I just wonder how guys who appear to have all of the athletic gifts and all of the intangibles fall so far in the draft.
