@Martin that “shitty” team has one of the brightest futures when it comes it their young stars. There’s too much talent on Denver’s roster to even be considered that. Maybe we don’t have the best coaching and maybe we don’t have the best QB but y’all got the brakes beat off y’all until garbage time rolled around. Just you wait until we land a real fucking qb to make all those throws that teddy missed the entire game. I saw Jeudy open constantly and never really got the ball. Also drew came in and gave y’all your only TO basically for free. Just a QB away from dicking on y’all every year just for fun.

@Martin and there’s no arguing that y’all have one of the best offenses in the league. I just think our defense came in the clutch when needed and that always stayed true to this team over the years. This is also a learning year for us. Defense will be even better next year and there should be some kind of solution at QB so we should be there with y’all on the offensive side of things pretty soon. It’s basically just a race to see who can dethrone the chiefs for first place in the division.

This game was lost by the offense tho, putting up basically 0 in the first half if it wasn’t for the defense picking it off. And going for it on 4th and not kicking an early field goal and missing 1.

Nasir Adderley has been a very good tackler .. I’d put him up there too.

Dude the protection “scheme” wasn’t working because it required our left guard to at least slow down his man on passing plays.

Unfortunately there is no “adjustment” to fix that because we’re already using available TE’s and RB’s to shore up the RIGHT side of the line. Unless by “adjustment” you mean, “wait until Feiler gets back”.

@Martin I mostly agree with you, but that throw to Ek WAS on Herbert. That ball was behind ek. He had to turn his body to even get two hands on the ball with momentum going away from where the ball was placed. It was close, sure, and maybe it was close enough to where ek had a chance at it, but ultimately, the placement of that ball was not good.

He’s treating Herb just like Mario Cristobal did, making Herb a check down QB..lol. If the o-line can’t give you time though, it’s hard for receivers to get open downfield.

No kidding. The Broncos rarely brought more than four on the rush and had Herbert running for his life. The Chargers rushed four and got to the Bronco’s QBs twice.

He needs help. James shouldn’t be tackling the RB on a run play. No pressure from our D Line.

Derwin James was clearly our best player by a lot yesterday. He’s the only one that didn’t have a bad game yesterday.

Herbert needs to play better. This loss was on him as much as anything else… The throw to Ekeler was a fastball high and behind. The receiver may get his hands on it but will rarely catch that throw. It is no coincidence that the Chargers are last in the league in drops. Herbert throws too hard and not accurate enough at close range. And the int in the end zone was horrendous….

We’ll be fine against the Bengals. I’m not a Pollyanna, I actually called this loss based on matchups. Same reason we’ll be okay against Cincy, we’re built to play QB centric, star receiver offenses, and Feiler will be back. Not a guarantee, but not “X beats Y, Y beats Z, so X destroys Z” either.
