It feels like Morse was telling us that he’s retiring after this game. I understand though with amount of concussions he’s suffered in his career.

JPJM

I think the “run it back” attitude of this team needs to end. Time for a change at DC. Also really need to look at getting rid of some guys who aren’t performing up to standard.

    JPJM

@TommyDavid Walker I don’t necessarily want Sean to go now because he has done a good job overall, but the argument can be made as to how far he can take this team. If he goes, it can be justified.

    Matt™

Yes, a time for a change is due. How about changing the team’s location to Austin? It would be better off there.

    Matthew Donahue

Agreed, especially with your last point. We’ve invested so much in the dline, yet players aren’t developing, be it scheme or player, that needs to be figured out, and addressed… Also our offense, we have Josh and Steph, then … Hot and cold, we need more options, Sean talks about self scouting, okay, self scout… I’m not saying fire anyone, but figure out what you HAVE and not what you think you could maybe possibly develop through out… I understand depth but when your starters get mauled and ran over by second, third, and off the street guys, there’s obviously an issue

    JPs adventure’s

Complete over hall something needs to change this is getting old after 30 years of being a fan and Allen deserves better it’s not his fault he had no talent or protection around him besides diggs

    Mark Peter

Dorsey was bad all year. Oline was bad all year which puts Allen under pressure and hinders the run game. And the whole defense needs attention. Safety, cb, line… Still cant affect the QB, and tre isnt tre. Dumb penalties because he’s getting beat. We took a step back

Doyle Frye

I love this team, though all the heartache and pain.Im not from Buffalo, but I have been a BILLEIVER since 1988.You know sometimes things don’t ever seem to turn out right and I feel for all of the players and the city. You have all been through so much and I’m right there with you…but don’t give up.Keep the faith, and know that better days are sure to come.

    Travis Bickle

We said that in the 90s and right after 25 more years of irrelevance came

    dogstyle

Thanks for the empathy. It’s god awful being a buffalo sports fan. I was hoping we’d get a healing balm for our battered yet always hopeful city. This one especially hurts😔

Michael Andrew

We got man handled. We need a lot of new people. A new offensive and defensive line, a real number two receiver, a running back, a new safety, more corners. We need toughness

    Jonathan Pielmeier

    Yeah that not realistic

    T K

You need a new team and coach, gl

    Seattle Saints

And a Presser DE like Miller back in the Lineup.Needed a FG just before Half n a TD right after the half to get the Team’s MOJO back didn’t happen.Bills get the Bengals in Regular Season in ’23

Solar Anthony

Great Job this year Maddy & Steve sad the way it ended but appreciate you both.

Mark Guiliani

The Bengals were literally laughing at the bills in their own stadium! How this team/ Josh Allen were ever even considered in the same sentence as the Chiefs or Bengals is humorous ! Can anyone say dumpster fire

    Cole

The Bills of the first 3 weeks were not the Bills of the postseason this year, that is for sure. First 3 weeks we were super bowl contenders, unfortunately that can’t get us there if they don’t keep that momentum. Also losing Von and Hyde really affected this team, as showcased in this awful game.

Derek Alford

I love the bills and always will but their needs to serious changes this off season if they want to get to the AFC championship or Super Bowl next season. Frazier and Dorsey need to go, especially frazier. We straight up got dominated in the trenches all season and beane’s gotta go out and get some elite free agents and players in the draft cause some of the guys who were starting just flat out weren’t good enough….this was a big wake up call for the team

    J Osgood

Do you think you just walk into a store with a no limit credit card and pick elite free agents off a shelf? Josh get paid this coming year. We are going to be losing talent to stay under the cap. We can’t just go get some “elite free agents”.

    Cole

@J Osgood Josh can always do what Brady did and restructure or take cuts to get the talent he needs. Most of this falls on Beane anyway to get the right people in the right places. He is still young and has plenty of footing, but personnel changes need to happen this offseason and aggressively.

Israel Valencia

I liked the work that Sean McDermont was doing, it’s been six years, and I don’t know if he is the right coach, maybe it’s a time for a chance, perhaps we need an offensive minded coach

    Amy

    100%. He’s NOT him.

    J Osgood

You both are out of your minds. I would understand if you were going after a coordinator.

    Travis Bickle

@josgood5412  McDermott gets outplayed and out-schemed every time it matters. Yes the coordinators aren’t helping but at the end of the day it’s his team that keeps falling short

Michael Luna

Amazing that the Bengals OC can scheme 2 receivers wide open for TD’, But ours can’t scheme anyone wide open all season. We had some receivers who would get open and break a tackle, but I can’t recall any receiver, TE, or RB that was wide open all season. Things just looked so vanilla with a lack of creativity, and I was really hoping he was holding things back for the playoff run.

raysschoko

We were outcoached! We dont run the ball and make it easy for the the other defensives and we cant Blitz. Fraizer needs to go and we need to run the Ball game balance. COaching is the only problem here.

JOE MOMMA

“We’ll get better from this” no we haven’t. We have fixed zero issues from last year. We need more ways to win a game. This is elite football that where you need different looks and corrections through the game.

    Travis Bickle

We haven’t fixed anything since 2020 which is when we had daboll

    JOE MOMMA

@Travis Bickle  Exactly. It hurts cause our team is so full of talent that we should be going further.

Christopher

We need a real running back

darwen frankie

We need to run the ball more , also start shakir next year . He’ll be the true #2 receiver we need

Matt™

This was just the standard Buffalo Bills. Choking when the pressure is on. It’s been that way for 30 years. Nothing will ever change. Can we move this lost cause to Austin now?

Chris Clark

This wasn’t even a competitive game, the Bengals controlled everything from beginning to end. Even though I recognize the Bills are far from healthy, they need to look at restructuring some players. All in all, good season, but they clearly are not ready for the next level yet. I think next year will be much harder because the DC will likely get a head coaching job.

iamrichrocker

must have been tough for Josh to face, and answer all of these questions post game..we failed this warrior..be an interesting post season and spring..changes will need to be considered strongly..

Henry McGill

Really emotional year. Looking back the team was in shambles after the Hamlin incident. Still proud of my guys.

R K

Buffalo’s identity is the kicked and beat down underdog, that is all heart and grit. Would hate to see that change by winning a Superbowl, never been a fan of inflated heads. I’m happy being out there giving the fancy cities a good fight, year after year. I would love to see this team and city raise that trophy one day though. Keep fighting, Go Bills!!!

YBfromHolworthy

The bills showed their true colors of how soft they really are after quitting the Monday night game because of a injury

Eddie Kulp

If Bill’s could have won just 1 Superbowl in past then failing in playoffs recently wouldn’t be so bad . Helped me as a Saints fan
