Bills League-Leading Point Differential | Bills By The Numbers: Ep. 13

In this week's Bills By The Numbers podcast presented by FanDuel, Chris Brown and Steve Tasker break down the Bills league-leading point differential and where it ranks historically. The two discuss just how good the Bills defense has been statistically this season and how dominant they've really been. Chris and Steve pick who might break the team's mark for receiving touchdowns. We also take a look at NBC Sports NFL analyst Chris Simms’ Top 40 QB rankings and see where Josh Allen lands. Our FanDuel Hi-Lo predicts the teams with the highest and lowest totals across four statistical categories.

i LOVE bills by the numbers

    C. D.

Bills are top in point differential, but there is no context.
when you play 5 back up QBs,
    ( Jacoby Brissett(Mia)
    Tyler heinecke(Was)
    David Mills(Hou)
    Mike White(NYJ)
    Trevor Simeon(N.O.)
And Low Tier QBs like Trevor Lawrence,  Old Big Ben, Carson Wentz, a rookie QB Mac Jones twice( and he only threw 3 times in their first meeting), Washed up Cam Newton, below average Tua, and Tannelhill of the Titans. That’s 13 of the 15 QBs Bills faced that were below average. Only elite QBs they faced were Brady and Mahomes.
    Sorry, but this very misleading.

@C. D. and you have the context for every team that lead the league in point differential for the last 20 years, your arguement sounds childish

Mathieu Guillet

Nice!

Just wondering, how the bills rank in 3 and outs? Like you gentlemen said being #1 defence quitely, this would be one impressive stat to hold.

Matthew Wronkoski

I think the BILLS D is severely underated due to a lack of a stand out player, although a majority are above average across the board, and Allen has to fight bad reporters ego’s who were wrong from the start

    Good point

Bills have gota learn to win the tight games..can’t remember when they last done it

    Vasilios Tsirtsakis

    Last season

    Jose R

Last year when the Rams came back and almost beat us.

Dennis Dwyer

only team Buffalo beat this season that had a winning record at the time of the game was New England the second time we played them if you look at everyone else we beat this year at the time of the game that team had a losing record sub 500 look it up yes even Kansas City had a losing record when we played them we played well against Tampa Indianapolis and Tennessee who all had winning records at the time we played them and landed up losing

    Don’t be a Debbie downer

David Maly

So if we compare the total yards and total TD’s against the guys you’re talking about over the last two years… that’s passing and rushing…

Josh 9833… 85
Brady 9710… 85
Pat 9944… 77
Rodgers 8519… 89
Josh is up there…

M L

No matter what, things could be worse. We could have AB as a cancer in the team.

ZEBRAS ARE REPONSIBLE FOR 3 DEFEATS

    NcGrex

And it’s like living in bizzaro world when the league refuses to admit it.

    Charles Mayzak

    @NcGrex they promote it

Brent Moberg

Tasker is a hall of Famer, period!

Charles Mueller

Chris Brown needs a glow-up of his home office. Get this man a book shelf with some random tchotchkes on it!

Blablabla Blabittybla

“Jets are struggling?!?!” They were up on SB champs most of last Sunday.
Don’t take them lightly.

D.T. O'Lalee

How can you say these guys could break team records, given back then last week would’ve been the end of the season. It should always be averaged per game at this point.

Greg Gonda

Chris and Steve set the standard for reporting on the Bills and the NFL. Very insightful and funny. Love everything they do!

Ash Salleh
