I used to say “In Bill we trust” until I noticed Brady could work without Bill, but it seems like Bill cannot work without Brady. Another example of the young guy doing all the work, and the old dude taking credit.
You have a great point but is Mac being developed properly? So the final evaluation can be determined whether to move on from him. You don’t want another team to take him and prove you wrong. Why is his play worse than last year? pulling him after 3 series last night proves the coaches have no clue what his true evaluation is.

If your plan was to play zappe why would you give mac the starter reps, mike onwenu said the team had no idea zappe was gonna go in, embarrassed 2 qbs on live tv for no reason
I believe Bill when he says he did what was best for the team and the players involved. He hates losing everyone knows that so like he said it just didn’t worked out they were outplayed in all facets of the game and out coached. Learn from this and work to get better, on to the Jets.
If he hates losing, it’s not showing the past 3 seasons – He’s washed up

Keep zappe in. His interceptions came in the fourth quarter when the bears were way ahead. He had to force aggressive passes to get any chance of winning.
The coaches were asking mac to throw aggressively down field the beginning of the season he was 1 in yards per pass while Patricia was calling worse plays than he has for zappe
Mac has been lost since McDaniels left. That’s very apparent. All of this is coaching. Zappe will be caught in the wash, we need consistency and starter named now. This experimental crap hurts everyone.

The biggest problem the Pats have these days is Belichick……it’s not a personnel problem…….it’s a coaching and GM problem. They will be 7-10 this year.
