What did he actually do for the organization? Every ring the team has won was with Tom Brady. After losing Brady the Patriots haven’t won their division and their only playoff appearance had them getting humiliated by the Bills, a new season tradition Bill has given us. And to make matters worse the rest of the division is surging ahead while the Patriots get even worse.
Jets went from 4-13 in 2021 to 7-10 despite having a QB room even less stable and supported than the Patriots
Dolphins are still 9-8 but were able to make the playoffs
Bills went from 11-6 to 13-3 and second in the conference
Patriots went from 10-7 to 8-9 and missed the playoffs completely
I look forwards to 2023 where we go 6-11 and people still remind us that Bill is the GOAT head coach despite being a QB baby.

@Alejandro Proskauer josh was a project who couldn’t complete a pass coming out of college. Mac was “nfl ready” coming from a nfl style college program. Defenition of apples to oranges. Next you going to give me Peyton Manning interception total like it has anything to do with Mac.

Amazing how people are ready to throw Bill under the bus for a few average seasons, despite all of the past success. 27th in the league in spending over the past 3 years, not to mention, a 1st, 2nd year QB and a 1st year free agent QB during those seasons. Any other coach in the league wouldn’t have won more than 4 or 5 games with this squad. You’ll be sorry when he retires. We’ve been spoiled from 20 years of domination.
Literally. We have the second most Super Bowl trophies. Some teams don’t even get a Super Bowl appearance.
Spoiled rotten fans. They have no idea that 5-12 or worse for decades exist. This team has been in or near playoff contention since going into a full rebuild. Only real fans can see how impressive that is in itself. Look how long the Bills/Bengals were by bottom of the barrel before finally being competitive. There are some small things Bill needs to adjust and get better at, indeed. Mainly adjusting to how the league is now, and start drafting real athletes to fit. The last draft was a good start. Standing with Bill til the end of time.

I’d love to see some stats on records after a HOF qb leaves a team and the HC stayed. I think it would show that BB is doing pretty damn good thus far. I am certainly willing to give him more time to right this ship. OC needs to be changed and special teams my god. We’ll see if Mac is the answer (i think not) but with good coaching and continued good drafting (similar to the last couple years for drafting) they would be a very good football team.

Well the lions lost Matt Stafford and the Steelers lost Big Ben both finished with better records than the pats this year. Packers went from Farve to Rodgers. Seahawks made the playoffs 1 year after Russ. Philip Rivers might get in the HOF the Chargers are in the playoffs. Colts went from Manning to Luck. Ravens have been good even after Flacco won a super Bowl. Thats just in the last 5 years.
Mac is the Damm future for the pats and he’s Qb1 enjoy watching Mac forever on the pats
@jay 1988 Lions weren’t successful with Matt Stafford. Rams gave them 2 first rounds, a third round, and a QB that’s been to the Super Bowl. We didn’t get anything bc Brady wasn’t traded he was a FA.
Russell Wilson was traded for Drew lock🤢, Shelby Harris, Noah Fant, a first round pick, 2 second round picks, and a fifth rounder. On top of that Seahawks already had Geno Smith with 10 years of experience. Again, we got nothing for Brady.
Phillip River might be a HOFer but let’s not act like he was even remotely close to a Super Bowl towards the end of his career. 2015, 2016, 2019, and 2020 they were negative. That gave them the #3 pick drafted Joey Bosa in 2016, the #7 pick drafted Mike Williams in 2017, the #6 pick drafted Justin Herbert in 2020, the #13 pick drafted Rashawn Slater in 2021. Before 2020 we haven’t had a negative season in about 20 YEARS. I’m not saying we never traded up to get a high round draft pick but definitely weren’t handed high round picks like all of these other super teams (ex. Dolphins, Bills, Bengals.) How do the Steelers manage to draft good players every season with low first round picks? I have no idea 😅they probably had the NFLs best draft in 2017.
Aaron Rodgers was a gem. Drafted at #24. The chances of a franchise drafting back to back hall of fame QBs are low.

If they had an even marginally improved offense they are in the playoffs. The D is even better than the stats suggest. They were on the field way too much and overtaxed.
If they get the offense in order, and find balance, they will be back. Anyone saying to replace BB is not watching the overall league closely enough.
The combination of the greatest QB mind ever AND the greatest defensive minded coach ever is what created the dynasty. Brady does not get his first three championships without BB defense. BB does not get his first 3 championships without Brady.
