Bounce back win! Love it! Let’s go VIKES, SKOL!!!

Skols and Bones

Jefferson needs to be in the MVP race

    Ucantseemeverywell

if it was balanced and not just a qb award he would be the obvious favorite

    SLIM REAPER

I already put money down a month ago to win it, had great odds since it’s a QB award usually.

Never doubted the Vikings once. SKOL!!

Nice bounce back win but our defense needs to get better fast or it’s going to be a one and done in the playoffs.

    Noah M

Problem is: We know that this defense needs to get better since Week 2! And it hasnt really improved all season. So, i must say I dont believe it will improve anymore for the rest of the season. Unfortunately.

    Ted Saydalavong

@Noah M True. My only hope is that the defense somehow plays better in the playoffs and get on a roll. I remember the 2006 Colts, their defense were terrible in the regular season but got better in the playoffs and they won it all that year. Or last year’s Bengals, their defense wasn’t that great but played well in the playoffs and got to the Super Bowl and almost won it.

    Ted Saydalavong

@Blake Storbakken Yup. Hopefully when Tomlinson, Evans and Danzler gets back in the lineup, they’ll play better.

    Gilbert Colon Jr.

    @Noah M I agree.

    LugNuts

You are absolutely right, we need our cornerbacks healthy and our nose tackle back.

Derek Baker

Happy Thanksgiving Gabe & Ben! Great post-game analysis, as always! I certainly agree with most of your observations, however I must beg to differ regarding the Vikings defence. They are a “b]Bend AND b]Break’ defence, not a ‘Bed and don’t Break’ defence.. Throughout the season, the Vikings’ defence has been terrible at preventing teams from getting into field goal range, and extremely poor at preventing TDs in the Red Zone,. IMHO if it does not improve substantially during the remainder of the regular season, the Vikings’ defence will not be good enough to help the Vikings make a long run in the playoffs. Yes, the defence has made some timely INTs and 4th quarter stops, including tonight, but playing ‘Russian Roulette’ and hoping for a turnover or big stop near the end of the game is just not sustainable. So, while I am really pleased as punch with the performance of the offence and special teams, and really happy to see the Vikes go to 9-and-2, I’m really getting tired of Ed Don-a-Shell’s porous defence!

    Sam Iam

NE was 0-3 (for TD) inside RZ

    MIKERUPTION

I agree with your sentiment, but somehow the defense is getting it done. We’re 9-2, and you can’t attribute that to just the offense and special teams. Again, I agree with you that our defense is too lenient which makes me nervous every game. Hopefully, come the playoffs something will click, they’ll pull it all together, and clamp down the other team.

    Derek Baker

@Sam Iam Yes, and I hope that is a positive sign for the future.

Nic Steffl

Love the random Pete Bercich appearance. This team is special this year. More so than most if not all teams I’ve witnessed in Vikings franchise history.

Henry Chen

Giving up all those points and yards at home, against a poor offence and 2nd year QB is a very big problem!

5Shot my 4Head

Defense needs to blitz more. Make the opposing QB uncomfortable. Notice how as soon as we started showing blitz we got sacks. When we sit back we get picked apart. Shouldn’t be hard to figure out. Great win though. SKOL!!

Springerball

Honestly I thought they were going to beat the cowboys and lose to the pats because it’s tough on the short week. But the end result was just the same. Really only have one or two more tough games this season. Hopefully the eagles will lose and the Vikings can get the bye. That would be fantastic.

Brinelious

Ben Leber was a good linebacker and I liked him as a player alongside Chad Greenway, but he’s even better on the mic, always love listening to what he has to say.

    Live And Do Everything

    He sucks. Horrible analysis.

Chard askie

Wright has 0. ZIP. Zero touchbacks he is nuts

YouTube Algorithmic Safety Board

The pass defense is STILL rough. Really rough.

Ryannew Azada

The Minnesota and Vikings earned this great win tonight. Now, clinch the NFC North Division title against the NY Jets. The Jets are nearly identical to the SF 49ers.

Billy Joel

The wins are great !
The Vikings have to address their weakness on defense or they won’t go far in the playoffs.
How far can “bend not break” go ?
Skol !!

Florence Dahl

What rebound win on Thanksgiving night game quite a down to the wire plays

jeff whitney

Hey Ben don’t call it a bend but don’t break defense, it’s a bend AND break defense

Wally Tverstol

this show is my favorite especially with you 2. better football knowledge
