Good first season for Arthur Smith considering the fact that we have a bottom 5 roster. If Smith wasn’t coaching, I don’t think we win more than 4 games this season. Can’t wait to see how he builds the team!

What you wrote is nothing new, I’ve heard it all before. The difference is, I know that Ryan is the reason for some of those excuses. Lol

@Will Hunter, he’s definitely been part of the issue. I’m not asking you to respond either, again you’re not saying anything I haven’t heard a Ryan fan say before. Lol, Ryan can “try” to correct a lot of that by finding another team. Demand a trade, I don’t care at this point, I just know he’s hurting us more than he’s helping. Between his contract and his play he doesn’t enhance this team, he’s holding it back…

@Rushil Namballa, it’s not a guarantee, but again, we’ve missed the postseason 7 times out of the last 9 seasons. We’ve only had two winning seasons since 2013.😑 What are we waiting for at this point?! There’s not going to be a true culture change until we move on from Ryan imo.
We didn’t make the playoffs this season but this is a true team victory from the front office to the field. We would not have had this type of success without Arthur and Terry. This speaks volumes in Arthur Blank being able to get quality coaches and managers. I’m looking forward to seeing how we scout and practice. Please award those players that stood out the most with proper contacts without overpaying anyone. We need team concept even within the contract area so we can afford to add quality players.

I know it’s only his first season as the Falcons head coach, but I have mixed feelings about Arthur Smith. The team needs a lot of work. He , and Terry Fontenot have to nail this draft. Next Coach Smith has to do a better job of being creative getting all the playmakers involved in the offensive. Using formations to help get players open, opening holes in the running game, and get the ball out of Matt’s hand faster. Putting more points on the board. He is an offensive guy that can’t score!

Now let’s get down to business and get a running back and a receiver to replace Ridley. The offensive line can’t do it all on their own. Without receiving targets or strong running back, the offensive lines job is much more difficult. Let’s pick up a solid safety. Also
One last item… Arthur, this is the National Football League. Know that your offensive coordinator and defensive secondary overall coached soft… bad news for a team that plays to win. Players never ever follow a weak leader long term. Coaching should be an open contest… just like football starters vs. second string. It is the right way or no way at all. That is a fact… for a winner.
I think AS did a great job this season. Him and ryan had us playing meaningful games in December. THats all i can ask for with a 1st year coach, GM, no true number 1 WR, a rookie TE as your main weapon. THe defense came along this season. Kept us in a lot of games. 7-1 in one score games. i see nothing but improvment next season.
