I feel like even most fans are drastically underrating Claypool.

    Perry Ellis

@jw1 Claypool can run deep or crossing and middle routes to go check out his highlights

    jw1

@Perry Ellis I’m very aware of that. He can run all the routes

    Elote20

Fans have their favorites and think they know college players because they watched their highlights, and throw a tantrum when their team doesn’t draft their favorite college players. I personally ignore these fools and listen to experts but always keep a wait and see approach ✌️

    a b

@jw1 think double reverse reverse with Juju and Claypool with one of those patented fake pump throws from Ben. That would be a fun play to run.

    a b

@Elote20 you can make Nathan Peterman look like Peyton Manning if you only show the highlights. I agree with you. Highlights are fun to watch for most fans, but a scouting department they’re completely useless.

pitt-hole up in hero

Fortly

loved it

Ohio Ma4

1:52 the Rockets don’t want a big Center tho

Perry Ellis

Claypool is a steal, he will be the best wr from this draft!!!
6’4 230 4.42 speed, and he has great hands and is physical.
Who is going to be able to cover him one on one in the NFL 🤔
This makes the offense dangerous again. Great pic by the Steelers!

    Lavell Hall

    Plus Eric Ebron T-end!!

    Nola Anderson

4 posts, 4 hyperbole bombs. Are you trying to lauch your career as a press agent?

    Perry Ellis

@Nola Anderson no I’m just a football fan and a Steelers fan

    Elote20

Very Martavis Bryant esque and we all know how amazing he was on bombs from Ben

    Perry Ellis

@Elote20 better than Bryant Because he can catch, he doesn’t drop balls he has great hands and focus , which makes him a top receiver.

Perry Ellis

Anthony McFarland aka Mr Electric is a playmaker!!! This guy reminds me of Thurman Thomas. He is the best over all talented rb in the draft because of his elusiveness and speed. He played at Maryland not a football powerhouse but he gave it to Ohio State, Michigan State, Rutgers and the whole big ten.
He will be a fan favorite!!!
Also he will have FB Derrek Watt blocking for him!!! Which will give him another Pathfinder to make a hole for him to explode thru!!

    Elote20

Perry Ellis That little highlight tee they played reminded me of Dalvin Cook or Kareem Hunt

Perry Ellis

Alex Highsmith reminds me of Khali Mack coming out of college.
For those who can remember, Khali Mack came out of Buffalo not a powerhouse football program, but he was a athletic relentless pass rusher, Alex Highsmith is the same player.
The Steelers will find ways to play him especially in pass rush situations. This guy is a gonna be a all pro, and a feared pass rusher for the Steelers. He has to learn how to shed and close out to become a better edge sealer, but he can find the ball carrier rb or QB. He comes from Charlotte another small school, but he played big vs big-time schools, always a key when drafting small school players. Because
Some big time players go to small time football college programs. And some small time players get over rated coming from big time football college programs.
Bottom line Alex Highsmith is going to be a all pro great draft pick.

    EvilChaseK

lol Khalil Mack was drafted 5th overall. Highsmith wasn’t even a Top 100 pick.

    Jared Henager

@EvilChaseK antonio brown wasnt even a top 200 pick 💀

Perry Ellis

Og Kevin Dotson ..when I saw his film he immediately reminds me of Alan Faneca a nasty pancake blocker who doesn’t just open holes he breaks them to the next level!!! He has a nasty attitude which means he is the type of guy you want protecting your QB and RB. He is not as stiff as some may think as a pass blocker. He has great strength and size. He will start as a rookie because he is a NFL ready player, also he will be a all pro, but because of Pouncey and Decastro he may get over looked. He will be the starting left gaurd for the Steelers as a rookie.
His nickname should be
“the can opener” because he can and will open holes.

    Nola Anderson

    LOL! Faneca was a six-time first-team All-Pro and nine-time Pro Bowl selection.

    Perry Ellis

@Nola Anderson and future Hall of Fame player

    Nola Anderson

@Perry Ellis Agree about the HOF – does Dotson STILL remind you of him?

Ghost Ghost

needs based draft ? B-

    Paul Kersey

    D-

Perry Ellis

Carlos Davis DT Nebraska is a traditional 3-4 nose tackle his strength is that he draws double teams , so he will allow the lb like Bush to make plays because he will attack the point of the offense which allows the linebackers to flow to the ball. This was a good value pick because Davis has a chance to get significant playing time and possibly start if he works hard and brings that fire.
He is not Casey Hampton as far as strength is concerned, but he will be a good dt for the 3-4 defense for the Steelers.

Redsliv

Diontae Johnson and chase claypool are going to be a dangerous wr connection

    Jared Henager

@J literally lost 1 game to the Patriots and he was throwing with pain in his arm which he does not have anymore. Stop being a hating clown.

    J

Jared Henager Oh yeah I bet his arm feels so good, he’s gonna be slinging those INTs pain free what a joy. He’s got zero continuity with his WRs and he can’t throw anymore. Payton manning won a SB like that but it ain’t happening for you guys.

    Redsliv

J he tweeted on Instagram saying his arm feels better then ever

    J

Redsliv Lol ofc he wants your money. I bet mason Rudolph said his head never felt better after Myles boinked him too 👍🏾

    Jared Henager

@J he literally led the league in passing the year before 🤦🏻‍♂️ please continue acting like you have a clue though 😂

Steve Spears

Brooks is nasty out of md

Steve Spears

Grade B+

Light Iverson

It took 6 dudes to take down Claypool. We’re gonna love him. God please prevent injury against all these new young players entering the league. 🙏🏽

Jay Moret

Solid draft. With the Steelers track record I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt that a fair amount of their picks will pan out. Look forward to seeing Chase Claypool out there next year to help the O.

Paul Kersey

Of the six only ONE (Claypool) will make any impact. We badly needed a FEATURE RB but instead Tomlin/Colbert FAILED again by drafting a MIDGET.

    Jared Henager

How do you know that none of the rest will pan out at all??? Also the one guy you said will pan out is the guy they picked over your beloved dobbins 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Jared Henager

Also Willie Parker was a “midget” genius

Cody Skaggs

Before you judge watch their highlights and then you can start talking all those who judge McFarland and the others you ain’t a true Steelers fan and I hope that they prove every one of the haters wrong

    Nola Anderson

we’re not true Steelers fans if we do not fellate each of these draft picks on YouTube?

Joeschmoe Dontjaknow

Juju wide left claypool wide ride, send it deep. Highsmith is too small to play edge but he can be effective from the inside linebacker position. McFarland will work out fine. Kevin dotson is going to be all pro. I would plug him into right guard immediately and move decastro to left. Safety depth is good, he might even work his way in to rotation if they cant seem to find out what to do with Edmund’s and then an interesting specimen with Nebraska big man. We got kevin dotson and that’s all I really wanted so I’m happy.
