he was pretty solid, after he almost threw that interception he seemed to start second guessing himself a little. I still think he’s a solid QB.

@Dark Destroyer1 went for a deep pass on 3rd and 1, and only used 1 time out. It’s clear he can’t handle the clock at all. I’m not a coach in the NFL, but what he should’ve done is run it on 3rd and 1, and then he has 3 tries to throw the ball into the end zone, but instead we left way to much time on the clock so they got the game winning FG

@Lions7539 first of all he doesn’t choose the play calls lol and second he didn’t decide to do the deep throw, that was Goff, that play had 3 other receivers on shorter routes

That hurts, but good to hear the announcer say the Lions are for real (or back?), no matter how this game goes. They weren’t perfect, but they could have (should have) beaten a SB front-runner. They’re a lot better now than earlier in the season, what with so many injuries and head-scratching calls. Goff Haters-relax! He’s not perfect, but good enough, and he’ll be better as players come back from injuries and they have a good off-season. That means DON’T draft a QB in the first round. Many other places need those picks. Maybe get a QB in the 2nd or 3rd if they think they can groom him to one day be the replacement. They won’t get better next year with a rookie at starting QB, one likely from an elite college team who never had to face what he’d see in Detroit. Be realistic: it isn’t Goff’s fault every time they lose. Be realistic, and not simplistic.

@Tricky I guess you’re right. I have season tickets and spend too many Sundays driving an hour and a half for disappointment. Barely losing is a step up from getting blown out. Just upsetting that making common sense coaching decisions at key moments would have this team 4 or 5 more wins.
