I like Williams here–a lot. But how did Desai not fit our D around the players ? Actually, Desai did a great job as a 1st time coordinator near the end of the season plugging holes with no-named in the secondary. Announcers during a couple games pointed that out as well.
Look bro, clearly you didn’t watch the game. Because our D wasn’t our main issue, the fought hard and gave us a defensive chance. So for me I didn’t want/need to see any changes to our D but add the right additions, and get me some offensive leadership EB should be our head coach, and Desai should have been given a chance to get better. Would have been the right (smart, logical, intelligent) thing to do.
@Craig Walker I think you nailed it…Others around the league took notice of the young Coordinator’s rise & he got multiple interviews and a promotion to the Seahawks Associate Head Coach position. We rarely know all the inside info & that tells me a lot.

He seems like a genuinely great guy. Love it. Also love his habit of repeating everybody’s name after they introduce themselves. That’s a great habit, LOL. I need to steal that from him.
Very introspective. Measured. Focused. The guy is polite as heck too. Didn’t know too much about him. But what I see so far, I really like. Wish him well.
The bears will be in the top 3% of elite teams the next 10-12 years. This will be Dynastic . The first of its kind in Bears History. I’ve never heard a head coach , offensive coordinator , and Defensive coordinator who are distinctly different convey the exact same principles in such a passionate and articulate way . I’m so excited as a Native Chicagoan and Bears Fan.
I’ve been waiting and watching. Tell me I’m not dreaming. We have us a real teacher right here. Bears have gathered a crew of tough minded football coaches.
