@abyss no lol. I wasn’t expecting wins this year. More so evaluation and development of current talent. This team can compete but can’t finish due to lack of talent at key positions.
It’s actually wild how close a lot of our games have been and we have put ourselves 1-2 mistakes away from winning those games if we can limit those and execute better then holy crap we r in business. Also building a better team is definitely#1
@j2theosh6969 But that’s football. Even the worse teams in the league are sometimes 1-2 plays away from winning. I see the bears seriously competing again in 2-3 years. Many offense and defensive holes that need to be addressed along with further player development.

@Cashis Clay right I think we should have paid Smith seaborn is solid and could have been a nice addition to him and then signed another young vet I could see Quinn trading him he wasn’t really producing all like that people got to understand that when Hicks and Smith was getting double team did it freed him up so he’s supposed to eat as you can see without having the main guys on that line Queen is very mediocre I don’t think they probably going to keep Eddie Jackson but we’re going to have to have some safety help back there I like our little rookie corners but our team wasn’t that bad as people try to make it

Tough loss today but I’m sure coach Eberflus will rally the troops and have the guys ready to play and win next game. Just got a few loose ends to tie up.

I know coach won’t admit they are tanking but I don’t see them calling plays to win.. Where’s Claypool, Mooney or Velus? Deep routes with their fastest receivers? Pass the ball more.. not to win necessarily but for Justin to improve his passing and not depend upon his legs..
I believe their playcalling is the tanking part, but Justin can’t get two seconds to throw the ball. It’s ridiculous how he has no pass protection. If he did have passed protection, though, I think it would be winning more games so as long as there’s development going on, I’m fine with the losses.

@Vince Sly oh most definitely. If I’m not mistaken, we were a few yards short of getting into decent field goal range when Santos barely missed. And I think it was a 3rd and long and they dropped back to pass instead of running lol. They’re definitely tanking because a lot of things don’t make sense
Again, most of the media they’re asking them questions, and being disappointed when the bears lose already knew or at least had feelings that the Bears were going to be the worst team or one of the worst teams in the NFL… So why get upset when they are winning? Of course, everybody wants to see them win but in the end it doesn’t really matter and it doesn’t help them in the future… I don’t believe in this winning for morale or learning how to win… They will learn how to win when they have enough players around Justin on both sides of the ball, and I guarantee winning will come, and no one will be disappointed… So let’s not make a big deal out of it and look forward to the draft..
they are intentionally tanking at this point. no other reason for that playcalling on the last drive. didnt even give fields a chance to win or lose with his arm. QB power on first down when they are stacking the box all day?

Not happy w/Getsy’s play calls in the second half. There was a disconnect between him & Fields today. Doesn’t anybody in that building care about Fields well being?!!

Besides the cowboys and packers , We have lost every game by 1 possession. Offense is there but can’t get no momentum when our defense and special teams goes down hill every week .
6 of our 8 losses we had an opportunity to tie or lead in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. That’s a coaching problem folks…. Sorry but I’m not sold on eberflus.
