This is literally the same thing as Fred Warner, Heyward is arguably the best DT in the NFL and isn’t even top 40. Needs to be higher for sure.

We Steeler fans WOULD DIE for this guy. Tomlins voice over at the start.. “you think I give a damn what he doin on aug24th..?” … NO Because we of steeler nation know that this man is an absolute beast and one of the most criminally underrated players in the league and its partially due to TJ admittedly, but the 2 of them is why they are the best Def Duo in the league. Work effort like none other that duo.

As a Steelers fan, I wouldn’t want any other player in the league in that position. The reason we’ve been a top 10 defense for so long has so much to do with the havoc Cam causes in the trenches.
Love watching him play. Never seems to take a single play off. Nonstop motor and a good human being. Steelers hit the jackpot when they drafted him.
I was watching some of the DL/ EDGE drills from training camp at St Vincents last week and Cam was running the drills. Hes basically like a player/coach. Funny thing was he couldnt get on the field his first 2 years in Pgh because Kiesel, Big snack, and Aaron smith were in front of him. All the sports talk know-it-alls were saying he was a 1st round bust. LOL
Heyward should’ve been starting in 2011-2012. Instead they used Ziggy Hood who was mediocre at best. I remember when they started Cam finally, it was 2013 after an 0-4 start, week 6 against the Jets, and the rest is history.
They don’t do it much better than Cam. A true professional athlete, on and off the field.
The second best DT in the league behind AD. Man is just consistently a beast. Future HOFer for sure.
Always confused as to why he didn’t get mentioned as one of the best. To me, he is #2 behind Aaron Donald. I mean who else has been in the league for this long & had had such constant, steady, and consistent production. He deserves all the respect in the world, and he should be more around the 30 spot on this list.

Cam is a good example of trusting the process. Came into the league surrounded by great players on defense, he just put his head down and worked tirelessly & now he’s reaping the rewards of all his hard work. Crazy to think he’s been in the league for that long already but he seems to become more dominant the older he gets.
One of my favorite players of all time. An absolute BEAST!
