1. Nkeal Harry was the king of the 50/50 balls in Pac 12 once upon a time. If you can’t get open vs them trash corners over there and got to rely on the 50/50- you going to get eaten in the NFL. Not much power either. Not enough YACs. Drake London got huge bust potential. No way I would pick him in the top 5 WRs or in the 1st round. Jj Arcega Whiteside comes to mind. He ain’t an X. He is a slow tall slot.
2. I am not as high on Olave as everybody else is. Maybe he is a 1st round pick but not convincingly to me. No real sudden. Not much of a vertical explosive threat. No physicality to his game whatsoever. 0. No competitive toughness at all and IT SHOWS ON TAPE.. Not really a YAC guy. Good smooth, smart route runner with solid hands but a bit of a body catcher. Will drop some and n make extended catches. Won’t make tough catches over the middle where it can get dark. Underwhelming contested cacthes. I see a softer Kenny Stills with better route running skills. He is not a no.1. He is not a dawg. He is a compliment. Not his own man. Not a thoroughbread 1. I don’t think he has much bust potential but I think his celing is a bit low. If you drafting him to be your #1 I think you will be disapointed.
3. Very high on all Simms top 4. Very high on Garett Wilson, Jahan Dotson, Metchie and Pickens as well. Maybe not as high as he is in Christian Watson but still high
Btw I think Chris is selling Garrett Wilsons physicality, speed, hands and route running a bit short. He was way more impressive than Olave on tape.

    Agree with everything said here, idk why anyone on earth would spend a first round pick, let alone top 10 pick on a receiver with a limited route tree. Drake London is not a #1 and future bust.

    I agree and I am definitely rooting for him to get a GM job one day in the NFL. But if he completely missed the boat on Zac Wilson and all the other quarterbacks he rated above Mac Jones.. his goal is never going to be realized.

his qb ranking usually is very fair. but the other position, up and down. fast physical specimen is one part… jerry rice was not that… wilson is my no.1 easy, he is the most natural wr. i got williams at 2. but i am with him, i put watson and pierce over london. they are smoother than london.

I love this top 5. I’m a Jets fan, just got off the phone with my Dad and was telling him that I don’t want to draft a wide receiver at 10. Wilson/London/Burks just don’t excite me. I’ve watched their highlights multiple times to try and feel differently but I just couldn’t see it. This reassures my feelings

    @Tyler Fernandes well elijah is actually much better on the outside. He has a body for the slot, but he’s definitely an outside guy. Very unique player and I’m excited to see him get better looks this year as Zach settles. We saw them get together when healthy and Elijah was HOT before he got hurt.

    London for me would be just fine, I love the big body catch ability not sold on separation and general explosiveness. I feel Jameson is closest to what Hill would have brought us in this offseason. Excited to see it play out!

    I’d like the Jets to take Williams at 10. Already ran a 4.4 forty just 13 weeks after surgery. Might be ready by the start of the season. Way ahead of schedule.

It’s funny, because you actually go back and listen to Chris’ prospect evaluation of Deebo Samuel, he actually comps him to Jarvis Landry as well. Just like he did with Treylon Burks. Treylon Burks still no. 1 in the class for me, with Jameson Williams as the only other WR in Tier 1.

Just YESSSSSSS….I’ve been saying it to all the bills groups Alec pierce is the sleeper wr no one’s talking about. His speed,feet, hands and size he will be a great receiver in the NFL. Big baller beane knows though.

Man , I love Christian Watson . I think he’s going to be a beast . He’s being slept on immensely , because of I guess , his level of competition . But at the Senior Bowl he proved he can play against top level competition . He might end up the best receiver out this class at the level . There’s nothing this guy can’t do , he might be the most complete receiver in this draft.

    @Yo Yo Watson had 2 drops last season. And one was overthrown and out of bounds. A Steelers site published videos of EVERY target Watson had. Every WR has drops. Watson’s few are within the norm.     @Yo Yo how many drops is that? Compared to who? That’s new, now all of a sudden Watson can’t catch yea ok buddy he prime receiver on any team he’s been on.
    The only reason he over looked is because he’s in FCS small school division, that’s it dude. He wasn’t as big as he was the year before as well, he went through a growth spurt got bigger, faster, and more physical for his last year and senior bowl. He made a late splash, that is it, there’s nothing about drops. I’ve been watching him, he catches and yacs just fine
