I liked seeing them use Everett more finally. Dissly kept dropping the ball unfortunately.

That’s been his whole career though..Deep desperate “Moon balls” on a roll out. Short game has been gone for a long time.

I think he might be too short for those quick throws the d line probably obstructs his throwing lane and can’t go over them. For years I wondered Why he can’t make those quick releases for 4-5 yds like Brady.

@den206 Russ seems to like the flashy moon balls. Id like to see him utilize the RBs and TEs on the short game allowing them to fight for additional yardage after the catch. Look at how hard Everett, Dissley, Dallas and Collins work to get extra yards. We mix it up making it a less obvious game plan, their D ends up guessing what’s coming next. It would be great to keep the D off balance. Several teams have problems covering the mid field play this year

@backtoconstitution1 I guess we all know..including Russ..that isn’t going to happen in Seattle (getting a good O-line)…Russ isn’t going to pull a Tom Brady and go to another team and win a Super Bowl…that slight bit more quickness he had to make those amazing scrambles and throws is GONE…that was his game..gone…

As a Seahawks fan, I am really not sure what game you were watching. Russ is a large part of the problem.

@Mr Nobody to respond to the comment about the finger and what I recommend too, just listen to Wilson’s press conference. He was asked if the finger was an issue and his response was basically ” did you see my deep balls?”. That is the problem, Russ refuses to use the underneath pass and it is why we cannot sustain drives. It’s been a problem for years and why we are blowing through coordinators now. Wilson needs to evolve for the offense to play well. He can’t carry the team anymore with moon balls to Lockett and DK.

Wilson is awful. full stop. He is one-dimensional and that one dimension is himself. He’s only playing for himself but he doesn’t realize that he’s washed up and can no longer play adequately. No team will sign him after this year’s performance.

I understand why you think that, but if Russ is really so not willing to throw short/intermediate passes and alter his mindset to fully embrace that (which is not a height issue) than he needs to go as well. Pete definitely has to go and if you keep Russ also you know what you’ll get…? A bunch of seasons with Russell Wilson and the Seahawks going 9-8, 8-9, 9-8. The other team in recent history that made big change but kept their franchise QB were the early 2010 Dallas Cowboys. You wanna be like them? Because that’s what would happen. With the exception of a handful of young players and hopefully resigning Metcalf, It’s time to blow to blow it all up.
