Nick Chubb is a top 3 running back and I love him he is my favorite brown and the scary thing is that he has a lot of time

    He’s a top 1 running back.

    prod. yxshi

@Dom1118 JT got him beat and you know it

    Dom1118

@prod. yxshi Absolutely not. Just go do some math and come back to me. JT had over 100 more carries than Chubb last year. They’d have exactly the same yards, but Chubb would have more TDs if he was given the same workload.

Top 3 RB in the NFL. Deserved!

When it’s all said and done, Nick Chubb has a chance to be the second greatest Browns rusher of all time.

    @8MoneyIzmyMission8 exactly!

@Walter Howard III nope. 50 years from now athletes will not be much better. We’ve already gone through the process of nearly peaking as far as athletic feats go. There won’t be 300lb players running 4.3s.

Overall eating habits (nutrition, supplements), the inclusion of black athletes, improved training methods and technology athletics has given us about what you can expect out of humans. Now we can get bigger stronger and faster, but not like the drastic change from the 60s to now. That’s a crazy change, and that change had more to do with needing to adapt to a situation.

Highly underrated!!! I keep hearing about JT and Henry but not this guy in conversations for top backs.

He’s silent yet deadly.

Lmao who you listening to everyone talks about Chubb. He’ll finish Top 3 this year in rush yards I bet

Nick Chubb is so dominant and he can’t be stopped truly. He has a great career ahead of him!

Jordan Lea

If he got the workload other backs got he’d be a 2000 yard rusher.

    Mark Zickefoose

Damn it all that he has to share carries with another (arguably) top ten RB.

    Jordan Lea

@Mark Zickefoose All I’m saying is that if you swapped out Jonathan Taylor for Nick Chubb in the Colts offense Chubb’s numbers would be basically the same.

Nick Chubb stats 2021:

Games Played: 14
Rushing Attempts: 228
Rushing Yards: 1259
Rushing TDS: 8

    James Taylor

Imagine if he didn’t split carries with a top back

    Ethan McGuire

@James Taylor well its insane how he only finished with 9 more carries than henry lol, still had 300 more yards

MJ Playz

Yessir! Nick Chubb is going to have a great season

Ticks me off how he continues to get disrespected! Better than way overrated JT without a doubt. Averages 10 yards a pop in the 4th quarter (a 1st down every run!), The ONLY RB in History to average over 5 yards a carry every season they’ve been in, Has the MOST yards AFTER contact, And has the Absolute BEST Vision in the game!

    Will Brench

@MrFamousAmos i get my takes from a YouTuber named ‘that franchise guy’. he’s a very credible ytber in the nfl community. he has watched a sh*t ton of film on both guys and has said numerous times that JT is the best rb in the nfl. I’m going to take his opinion and thoughts on the matter

    MrFamousAmos

@Will Brench I never said JT wasn’t better I just was saying they average the same ypc. Idc who’s better really the rb position fluctuates and de fluctuates so much in a season, it all doesn’t matter to me. Plus the are both players who would be dominant on any team. It’s more so for me that the margin isn’t that big of a gap to where chubb is ranked in the 30’s where JT and Henry will more likely be ranked in the high top tens. A huge jump in the rankings vs a small to medium differential in skill.

    Ethan McGuire

@B K He also almost had as many yac than Chubb had rushing yards. He also tied Ladanian Tomlinson’s record of 8 consecutive games with 100+ scrmg yards and 1 td in only his second year. Like bro just admit he has more starpower.

    B K

@Ethan McGuire  Let’s just start and get this out of the way. The Browns having a great o line at the moment does NOT mean Chubbs success is solely from them. And it’s NOT true that Chubb is a good running back because of the modern o line.

To start I’ll just debunk this claim right away. In 2019 Chubb led the league in rushing yards up until the last game with one of the WORSE o lines in the league. In fact, he would’ve won the rushing title in 2019 but King Henry passed him the last game of the season.

Next, let’s debunk the claim that Chubb apparently doesn’t have the ability to be a pass catcher. This idea is simply not true at all. Chubb has shown that he can receive better than Henry and most likely even do it as well as Cook. *The offense Chubb plays for simply doesn’t need him to be a receiving threat, hence why he’s not doing it as much.* He’s most likely the best pure runner in the league, along with having the best footwork besides CMC. But his vision is unquestionably the best. Chubb brings all of his strengths together in each run.

Chubb had the the most yards per rush in the 4th quarter in 2020. Henry was second with 6.62. *Chubb had 10.03!* That’s a first down every run in the 4th quarter.

*Chubb has the most yards per rush for the first 3 seasons in NFL history. Nobody ever has done what he did.*
Barry Sanders was 4th with 4.93.
Chris Johnson was 3rd with 4.97.
2nd was Jim freaking Brown with 5.07.

*And 1st is Nick Chubb with 5.23!* That’s more than anyone to ever play the sport at that position.

*I don’t doubt JT, but let’s wait to see a little more.*

I admit I’m a Browns fan but you can’t deny that Chubb is highly underrated. He should be ranked way higher. He’s a top 3 back in the league. His footwork and burst of speed is unbelievable! The only other backs I’d take over him are Henry and Taylor.

    Max Schaeffer

    he should not be higher

Best back in the league for me. His numbers would be insane if he didn’t share so many carries.

Prototypical RB. Massive thighs, great speed, nice lateral movement

Kiff D

Keep hearing alot about derik Henry and JT but this guy is just as good.

He’s not even starting every game and still manages to get a 1000 rushing yards

Wong Kar-Chazelle

Since entering the league Chubb leads the league in forced missed tackles, average yards after contact, and average yards per carry. The man makes the most out of every carry

    Sam S.

People don’t give the guy enough respect! He is the best pure runner in the league. Definitely a top 3 RB right now. And honestly, Dalvin Cook being ranked higher than Nick Chubb is an absolute joke. Chubb out played Cook in every rushing category.

    Wong Kar-Chazelle

@Sam S. yep. I think the only RB you can make an argument for being better than Chubb right now might be JT. I know Henry missed some time last year HOWEVER Chubb finished with 300+ more yards on just 9 more carries. And in my personal opinion I would have Chubb ahead of JT too. Both similar styles tho

Andrew Brown

Give nick Chubb a whole healthy season an we’ll see what’s up. Personally I think with his lack of touches an games it messes with his numbers substantially. Dude would have a 2k yard season easy if he got the ball/played enough and you’re dumb if you think otherwise

Anthony Votaw

Remembering a game from a few years ago against the Raiders, when Chubb only had 3 carries but managed to get over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns. Chubb is a fantastic running back, and so criminally underrated

Zoe Galang

Chubb is the literal meaning of letting his game do the talking

Stories to Tell

Watching NIck Chubb last season run is crazy.
The balance the toughness. He makes running look easy.
His momentum is aggressive

King Beez

Dalvin Cook ahead of Nick Chubb while having less yards and less TD’s with more attempts is crazy

Matthias Csatary

Love the tackle at 1:06… he got Chubb, but he dragged him an additional 10 yards before going down
