Cool

Nando G

Chris can be very positive on this one let’s go

Kawona McCray

Let’s see if the lions can turn rye n things around. But I doubt it

Nando G

Chris he ran at 20 mph on that run he has that speed just safety was already playing deep and had decent speed

    Nathan Brocker

Exactly, Swift ran a 4.48 second forty at the combine and topped out t 20.7 mph on that run. He has very good top end speed. He had no chance to outrun the safety’s angle on that play.

Now here is a question Atlanta has a new head coach and there fans are very optimistic after they crushed Atlanta so how will we beat Atlanta because we don’t know about them meaning there new head.coach coached one game now obviously Desmond trufant knows a thing or two about him so that helps but how do we prepare without knowing the new falcons team?

I don’t care if lions rattle off 10 in a row Patricia still needs to be fired. Running man coverage every single down will never win playoff games.

    Nathan Brocker

The Lions ran man over 80% of the time the first 2 games, but since then have ran man about 50% of the time. In fact, they ran zone over 60% of the time versus Jacksonville. I agree that the games with almost exclusively man had poor game plans, but it looks like Patricia has adapted.

@Nathan Brocker only took the “rocket scientist” 40 games to figure one thing out. Should still be fired. He’s a fraud.

    Nathan Brocker

@It’s Kyuu The Lions played a decent mixture of man and zone 2 years ago, but last year they lead the league in the amount of man coverage. However, after Stafford went down running vanilla schemes was smart since they would not be competitive anyways. This year it took 2 games to adjust. Not great, but calling him a fraud is going too far in my opinion.

    Nathan Brocker

@It’s Kyuu The bigger problem has been the lack of pass rush, outside of this past game. The Lions have the worst pass rush win rate and also blitz the least amount in the NFL both last year and this year so far. This is mostly a talent issue, but using exotic blitz schemes can help to overcome that and Patricia rarely does that. Overall, the defensive talent and scheme fits are not great. The positive parts of the defense are basically just the ex-patriot players; Harmon, Collins, and Flowers.

@Nathan Brocker thats why Quinn needs to be fired as well

I think this show title has been a jinx to the Lions.

It’s not a coincidence that Tate, Jones , Golladay and everyone else has their careers made playing with Stafford and become better than expected playing with Stafford.
Stafford just always has a Defense that’s ruining his name and his career.

Man up Detroit Defense. Ball out for Stafford if for nothing else.

    KiNG DiNGALiNG

    @Boobie Gibson Lol
Yea….and look how much more has been done since been there then prior. Don’t forget he was drafted to The Lions

    PredatorKingdom

@Boobie Gibson Shut up hater and all of you stupid boomers who say you’re lifelong Lions fans are nothing but stupid fans who bandwagon teams.

    PredatorKingdom

@KiNG DiNGALiNG Love your name first off. LOL! You’re stating facts bro, Stafford never gets credit for the receivers careers he’s made in this league. Tate’s best years were all played here in Detroit. Jones became a #1 receiver and Golladay probably isn’t the top 10 receiver in the league that he is right now if he’s never drafted by the Lions. I would love to see Cephus a little more because I think Stafford can make him as well. This defense needs to ball out as Stafford deserves that first playoff win soon.

    KiNG DiNGALiNG

@PredatorKingdom Yes Sir. We agree %πŸ’―. Stafford always give his D a double digit lead @ some point in the second but they rarely are able to hold on to it for him & The Team.
Stafford has to get the ball last with a chance to Win for him to be able to get The W because the d never holds onto leads for him.

@KiNG DiNGALiNG Yeah famo, it’s nice to find an actual fan in this fanbase who knows what they’re talking about not too many fans around who know football for real for real. I think that’s been the frustrating for me especially in that Saints game in particular we went up with a double-digit lead and the defense just wasted it and blew it putting Stafford in a position where he had to get the lead down which isn’t easy in this league when you’re behind 3 scores. I believe in that Saints game if we had the ball last we would’ve won that game 36-35 so the Saints got lucky they scored just enough to win and the clock ran out. The defense needs to ball like they did this week and in Arizona because if we go up on the Falcons we know they can score points fast so I hope Stafford isn’t in a position where his early lead gets lost again. It’s starting to get really annoying!

steve O

I think Stafford tells his receivers to run a go route every time they see someone jump off sides!!!! Stafford is good at taking a shot on those free plays!!!!

The Lions beat a sub-par team in Jacksonville. They are supposed to do that. Don’t get any ideas that we’re going to the playoffs. Last I checked, Green Bay and Chicago were still in our division.

PredatorKingdom

I always love listening to Chris Spielman’s views on the Lions, we still haven’t had him do one of our games just yet this season. I would love for him to call this game against the Falcons on Sunday. He was right too some people trying to downplay this win just because it was Jacksonville but that’s still an NFL team the last time I checked the same one who beat the Colts week 1 a team we got coming up after this week and none of these wins are easy in the NFL. This was no give me as the NFL is all about Any Given Sunday meaning any team no matter the records can win or lose so let’s not be careless about winning this game.
