    Blue Lives Murder

    Brady saved Beluchick

    Blue Lives Murder

    1. Bill Belichick is 71-79 (47.3%) in the regular season as a head coach without Tom Brady and 219-64 (77.4%) with Tom Brady

    2. Bill Belichick is 1-2 (33.3%) in the playoffs as a head coach without Tom Brady and is 30-11(73.2%) in the playoffs with Tom Brady

    3. Bernie Kosar, Vinny Testaverde, Drew Bledsoe, Matt Cassell, Jimmy Garroppolo, and Cam Newton have a *COMBINED* 11 Pro Bowl selections, 16 playoff appearances, 6 conference championship game appearances, and 3 Super Bowl appearances with 8 different head coaches in their careers. Those same 6 quarterbacks have made a *TOTAL* of 0 Pro Bowls, 1 playoff appearance, and 0 conference championship game appearances with Belichick as their head coach

    4. Belichick has 9 full seasons as a head coach without Brady under his belt. In those 9 seasons without Brady, he has failed to make the playoffs 7 times with 6 losing seasons

    5. Belichick was fired from the Cleveland Browns prior to the 1996 NFL season. The Browns were then promptly relocated to Baltimore where they won a Super Bowl in the 2000 season

    6. Belichick was hired as the Browns head coach prior to the 1991 NFL season. The Browns played in the AFC Championship game in 1986, 1987, and 1989

    7. Belichick is 35-35 (50.0%) as head coach of the Patriots without Tom Brady. He saw an *IMMEDIATE* 6 win increase and Super Bowl win as soon as Brady became starter in 2001 and saw an *IMMEDIATE* 5 win dropoff and playoff miss when Brady missed an entire season in 2008. Then he saw another *IMMEDIATE* 5 win dropoff once Tom Brady left for the Buccaneers in 2020

    8. The 2008 Patriots scored 179 fewer points (11.2 PPG) than their 2007 counterparts and Matt Cassell threw for 1,113 fewer yards, 29 fewer touchdowns, 4 more interceptions, and had a 27.8 decrease in passer rating from Tom Brady in 2007 with the only subtractions from the team being Asante Samuel and Tom Brady. The 2008 Patriots also had the 5th easiest SOS and were 2-4 against playoff teams while still missing the playoffs. The 2007 Patriots had the 8th hardest SOS while being 6-0 against playoff teams in the regular season

    9. Drew Bledsoe made the Pro Bowl with 3 different head coaches, but couldn’t with Belichick. Drew Bledsoe also threw for 3,691 yards in 18 games with Belichick, but the moment he goes to Buffalo, he throws for 4,354 yards while posting a better record (being a win away from making the playoffs) and making the Pro Bowl

    10. Pete Carroll took the Patriots under Drew Bledsoe to the playoffs twice while Belichick could not do it in his season with Bledsoe. In his 3 seasons as the Patriots head coach, Pete Carroll went 27-21 with 2 playoff appearances and 0 losing seasons

    11. In his 6 years as a head coach before 2001, Bill Belichick had never had a top 10 ranked scoring offense. The Patriots offense ranked 25th in 2000 with Drew Bledsoe at quarterback. In 2001, Tom Brady’s first year as a starter, the Patriots ranked 6th in scoring offense

    12. Drew Bledsoe has had 10 career 40+ point games in his career, with 3 different teams and 3 different head coaches. His highest point total under Bill Belichick was 30 points which was achieved just once in 18 games

    13. Drew Bledsoe’s worst career record of 5-11 was achieved with Bill Belichick as head coach. Bledsoe has produced a better record with every other head coach and team he’s ever played for, including the Buffalo Bills

    14. Vinny Testaverde’s best season under Bill Belichick was in 1995 when he threw for 2,887 yards and 17 touchdowns. The very next season Bill Belichick was fired and Testaverde threw for 4,177 yards and 33 touchdowns while making the Pro Bowl under interim head coach Ted Marchibroda. Testaverde now sits at #15 all time in passing yards and #16 all time in passing touchdowns. He has 7 seasons that are better than his best season with Belichick

    15. The Patriots offensive coordinator Charlie Weis from 2000-2004, produced 3 top 10 scoring offenses in 4 seasons with Brady as his starting quarterback. Without Brady, he has only produced 1 top 10 scoring offense in 5 seasons

    16. Josh McDaniels who was the Patriots offensive coordinator from 2006-2008, and then from 2012-2021, has had a top 10 scoring offense every single year Brady has been his starting quarterback. McDaniels left to become the head coach of the Denver Broncos from 2009-2010. In those two seasons, his scoring offense ranked 20th and 19th respectively. McDaniels was then fired and became the offensive coordinator of the St. Louis Rams in 2011 where his scoring offense ranked 32nd among teams

    17. Bill O’Brien became the Patriots offensive coordinator in 2011 where he had the #3 scoring offense in the league. He then went on to be the head coach of the Houston Texans, where, in 6 seasons with the team, he never produced 1 top 10 scoring offense, even with players like Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins

    18. Before Tom Brady, Bill Belichick had never coached a team with either 4,000 passing yards or 30 passing touchdowns in a season. In fact, he didn’t do it when Tom Brady missed an entire season in 2008 or in 2020 after Brady left via free agent one year following Tom Brady throwing for over 4,000 yards at 42 years old

    19. Bill Belichick fully expected to be fired in the 2001 season before the Drew Bledsoe injury. According to Charlie Weis, Belichick called him on the phone and told him to put his house up for sale because he didn’t think they were going to last too much longer. According to a Jets coach, in week 2 Belichick and Charlie Weis were talking to them before the game and were saying “We’re going to get fired”. The Jets coach then detailed how Belichick told them how they didn’t want Bledsoe, but he was a big locker room presence

    20. Bill Belichick had 3 quarterbacks to start under him that were drafted 1st overall in their respective drafts. Bill Belichick has gone 16-15 with Vinny Testaverde (drafted 1st overall in 1987 NFL draft), 5-13 with Drew Bledsoe (drafted 1st overall in 1993 NFL draft), and 7-8 with Cam Newton (drafted 1st overall in 2011 NFL draft) for a COMBINED record of 28 -36 (43.8%) with 1st overall draft picks at quarterback

    21. Bill Belichick has gone 14-21 (40.0%) with quarterbacks that have gone on to make the Super Bowl with another head coach. Bill Belichick has gone 5-13 with Drew Bledsoe who made the Super Bowl in 1996 with Bill Parcels as head coach, 2-0 with Jimmy Garroppolo who made the Super Bowl in 2019 with Kyle Shanahan as head coach, and 7-8 with Cam Newton, who made the Super Bowl in 2015 with Ron Rivera as head coach.

    22. In 2016, when Tom Brady missed 4 games due to suspension, the Patriots went 3-1 with Jimmy Garroppolo and then Jacoby Brissett at quarterbacks. In those 4 games, the Patriots played 2 games against teams who finished the season with losing records, 3 games at home, and they were shut out 16-0 to a Buffalo Bills team at home whom Brady put up 41 points against 4 weeks later on the road. The best team the Patriots played in those 4 games were the Houston Texans, who had 16 touchdowns to 17 interceptions on the season and had the same number of fumbles lost as rushing touchdowns. Jacoby Brissett threw a grand total of 0 touchdown passes in 10 quarters played during that 4 game stretch

    23. Art Modell is 305-253-8 (54.7%), with 18 playoff appearances, 8 conference championship game appearances, a NFL championship (1964), and a Super Bowl championship (2000) as a NFL owner in games Bill Belichick was not his head coach. In games Bill Belichick was his head coach, Art Modell is 36-44 (45.0%) with 1 playoff appearance and 0 conference championship game appearances

    24. Robert Kraft was 54-42 (56.3%), with 4 playoff appearances, 1 conference championship game appearance, and 1 Super Bowl appearance in 6 seasons as a NFL owner from 1994-1999 (bought the team in 1994) without Bill Belichick as his head coach. Robert Kraft is 35-35 (50.0%) with 1 playoff appearance in 4 FULL seasons with a Bradyless Bill Belichick as his head coach

    25. In 18 seasons with Tom Brady as his starting quarterback, Bill Belichick won his division 17 times. In 9 seasons without Tom Brady as his starting quarterback, Bill Belichick won his division 0 times

Logan was the fiercest OL I’ve ever seen in a Patriots uniform other than the one and only John Hannah.

    Matt Light too.

Never should have let Mankins go. Trent can be a false start machine.

what we got for him was worth it and we went on to win 3 more super bowls. Love Logan and that trade hurt but it was worth it. Plus Logan was 32 at the time

    Blah blah blah

    Blue Lives Murder

    @J CV You’re triggered

    HerptasticVideo

    1. When Belichick rebuilt the Browns he took over a team that was last and second to last in offense and defense. By 1994 they were the #1 D in the NFL and 11th in Offense. Anyone who counts the 1995 Browns (when their owner announced the team was moving to Baltimore prior to the season) is too ignorant to listen to

    2. Hall of Fame coach Bill Parcells never won a playoff game without Belichick running his Defense (and all his wins came from dominating defenses) – that’s 7 seasons. Should we reconsider Tuna’s bust in Canton?

3a. Bernie Kosar never started another NFL game after he was cut by Belichick because his career was over. You seem to be trying to use the fact Belichick was 100% right about Kosar and took unimaginable crap from fans and media for doing what had to be done for the good of the team as a negative against him.
3b. Before Bernie was entirely done, he set the record for most consecutive passes thrown without an interception while under Belichick. That record wasn’t broken until Tom Brady set a new mark, again, under Belichick.
3c. Before making Vinnie his starter in Cleveland, Testeverde was probably the losingest and lowest rated QB in NFL history at that point. Again you seem to be trying to use the fact that Belichick took the biggest loser and worst statistical QB in the NFL and turned him into a playoff winner and eventual Pro Bowler against the coach. This is absolutely moronic.

    4. Again everyone is familiar with the great job Belichick did rebuilding the Browns in what was a short time for a rebuild in that era and you seem to be trying to use this success against him. The Patriots lost the greatest player in NFL history, the greatest TE in NFL history, and a SB MVP WR all and it took Belichcik exactly one season to get to the playoffs without them. It took Belichick’s division rival the Buffalo Bills 17 seasons to return to the playoffs despite pretty much drafting in the top 5 after each of those season. How embarrassing for Bill and his staff.

    5. So the one season the Pats missed the playoffs after losing the GOAT player was an eternity while the 5 seasons between Bill leaving Cle and their SB win in Balt was done “promptly?” If you have to lie to make your point, your point probably isn’t very good.

    6. Thanks for the history lesson. The average score of a Cleveland Browns game in 1990 (the season prior to Belichick) was a 29-14 loss for the Browns.

    7. Tom Brady sure did play good for the Pats. Who was running the Pats football operations when they drafted Tom Brady? Who carried an insane 4 QBs on the roster in 2000 because Brady wasn’t anywhere near being ready to play but they knew they had to keep him? Who taught Tom Brady how to play NFL football? Who designed the passing offense Tom Brady took with him and used to win a SB in TB? That would be Bill Belichick, wouldn’t it? You see this all as a negative against him?

    8. Coach Belichick won 11 games in 2008 with a QB who literally had not played a meaningful game of football since high school = Negative

    9. Somewhat similar to the Kosar situation, defensive genius Belichick was ahead of the rest of the NFL in realizing Bledsoe’s effectiveness had waned and indeed Drew never again led a team to the playoffs. BTW, trying to cite that 11-5 2008 Pats w/o Brady as a negative while presenting the Bills 8-8 season with a healthy QB as a positive as they were “a win away from making the playoffs” seems kind of sleazy. That’s sleazy, right?

    10. Pete Carroll is obviously an amazing coach (and the Boston sport media who ran him out of town were, as always, ignorant and clueless) but that was Belichick / Parcells team he was winning with. I recall when they were struggling in 97 and Milloy said he and Ty had talked about how they had to get back to how they played the season before (with Belichick). And then after the final regular season game in 2001 after they’d done their lap around the old stadium, Lawyer was talking to a news crew and flying in from off the screen and into Milloy’s arms was Belichick who yelled “Hey hey! We’re back!” Since this was the Pats’ first playoff birth under head coach Belichick some who saw it maybe didn’t understand what he meant. But I did. And so did Lawyer.

    11. One season removed from losing GOAT QB, GOAT TE, and SB MVP WR, the 2021 Patriots outscored 26 out of 32 NFL teams with a rookie QB. This same team allowed the 2nd fewest points despite DPoY winning CB demanding a trade prior to the season.

    12. Drew Bledsoe led offenses score 40 or more points ZERO times in his first 27 starts as Parcells rebuilt the Patriots.

    13. The fact it took a single season to take a team that missed the playoffs and was in bad share re salary cap and turn them into the most dominate team in NFL history is an embarrassment Belichick will never live down.

    14. They won 4 games. This is you again just being sleazy and basically lying because you don’t have actual points to make. And to repeat – Vinny was an absolute bust and it was Belichick who turned him into a winner. You’re repeatedly citing this as a negative because you’re a sleaze.

    15. In #14 sleaze cites Vinny’s success with the Jets but in #15 sleaze omits Weiss was Vinny OC with the Jets. And how does the fact Weiss never matched the success he had under Belichick work against Belichick, exactly?
15b. – Fun Fact: Belichick has repeatedly cited “inexperience at the QB position” as the biggest reason they failed to repeat in 2002. While it may seem to be a shot at Brady I always felt it was a self criticism as he and Charlie were so enamored with Tom they thought he could handle anything they gave him and this was a mistake on their part.

    16. Pats were 6th in most points last season with a rookie QB — without looking ahead I’m going to guess you don’t compare Mac Jones’s first year stats vs Brady’s first year as a starter, do you? Because sleaze.

    17. Again are these meant to be negatives against Belichick? ???

    18. Again the 2008 Patriots were 8th in most point and 5th in most yards with a QB who literally had not played a meaningful game of football since high school. Stop pretending this is a negative.

    19. Not sure what your point is here. it was a tough situation for Bill because as the top defensive mind in the NFL he knew better than anyone he wasn’t going to win with their current QB but their current QB was BFFs with the owner and just signed the biggest contract in NFL history. The notion that Drew’s injury was good for the Pats kind of goes without saying, doesn’t it? Unless your point is that he should have benched Drew to start the 2001 season and he lacked the guts to do that – yeah I guess. No one in the NFL would have seen it that way but sure sure whatever.

    20. “Bill Belichick has gone 16-15 with Vinny Testaverde” – Vinny had a career record of 24-48 as a starter before being coached by Bill Belichick. (Didn’t bother to read rest of that one because I already found it to be too sleazy)

    21. I could have sworn Bill Belichick won at least a few games with Tom Brady as his QB but according to you nope.

    22. 2016 Pats win without Brady = Negative against Belichick. Remarkable sleaze level here. Also, when you cite opposing teams in 2016 having losing records but omit that if you take away their loses to Belichick’s Pats they actually have a winning record against the rest of the NFL – that’s called sleaze.

    23. Browns and Ravens have a combine 2 Lombardi trophies. Pats have 6, all under Belichick. Good point, though👍

    24. So you don’t think that: after they started 0-2 before hiring Belichick prior to week 3 in 1996 they then went 13-4 the rest of the way including holding Coughlin’s Jags (who had scored 30 against 2 top 10 defenses already in the playoffs) without a TD in the AFC Championship game should be a positive for Belichick but rather a negative? Have I pointed out how sleazy these arguments are?

    25. Reporter prior to NE TB game in 2021: “Bill can you talk about the offense Tom and the Bucs are running?” — Belichick: “It’s our offensive. I mean the runs are different but it’s our passing offense.”

    Okay. Next?

    Blue Lives Murder

@HerptasticVideo “When Belichick rebuilt the Browns”

The Browns went 36-44 over 5 years and had 1 playoff appearance, 1 winning season, and 0 division titles with Belichick. He didn’t “rebuild” anything. The rest seems to be you opinion rather than facts. 😂😂😂
