Steven, I’ve been a fan since 1968 ( I was 10). I lived on Long Island for the first 43 years of my life and only made it to one game in 1982. I moved to central NY (Syracuse, Bills territory) in 2001. In the past 5 years, I’ve averaged 3 games a year at MetLife. The fans are the absolute best! The first time I heard the ‘cheer’ while at MetLife gave me chills and brought a tear to my eye! Don’t put off not seeing the Jets at MetLife! After you come once, you’ll say, why did I wait so long?! J-E-T-S!! Jets, Jets, Jets!!!

This was really good. So awesome making a documentary about the de hard fans..btw..my girlfriend brought this to my attention and I never realized it…the jets are the only team with a chant of the team. Is she right? I can’t think of any other team with a team chant.,

I’ve been “Jet_Engine1” on Jets Message boards since 1998. Left Queens (Rockaway Beach) when I was 3 in 1974 and took my Jets Fandom with me, from NY to Florida, the Army, all over the world and country, and back here to South Florida. I lost my dad on November 13th. The last game we watched together was the Jets win over the Bills. He died on our bye week…after an 8 year battle with cancer. Thanks for everything, Dad.
