@Mark Kraft everyone looks great in their highlights! For example, I’m a terrible golfer but every once a while I hit one pure. Right down the middle. I’ve chipped in from off the green. If I just show you my best shots you’re gonna think I’m ready for the tour, but if you watch me in real life you’ll see me hitting it into the trees and putting like Happy Gilmore. Not a great idea to judge from highlights.

@Mark Kraft no I follow the Broncos closely, it’s entertaining. I don’t know that I really have a point… I guess what I’m thinking is it this time of year the fan base is always so optimistic, they love the coach, they love the new players. Then when they fall on their face the fans change their tune.

I just try to be realistic year around. Paton is an intelligent general manager, and I really like him. Hackett seems like a cheerleader, and I have serious doubts about him.

My comment about highlights it’s just that, a comment about highlights. At 31 other fan base areas right now people are all drooling over the highlights of their draft picks as well. Not all these guys are going to excel in the NFL however. In fact most of them won’t.

@Stevie Sevieria 😎 Cool, yeah I am more optimistic about the Broncos this year though because Paton has done such a great job of finding talent, and getting Russell Wilson is a big deal. With Wilson and Javonte, Gordon, Tim Patrick and Sutton, there is a lot of talent, and I believe that it will translate into 2-4 more wins based on that alone! And I don’t believe losing Noah Fant will be that much of a loss overall. And the three tight ends they have now look like they will be a good group. So yeah, I am very optimistic! I love what Paton Has done with this team. And as far as coaching? I believe that Hackett will bring in some innovation that will help get those 2-4 more wins a year. Regardless of all that though, the AFC west is really stacked and the football will be excellent this year. I am really looking forward to it!

You know why, right? Because he is a WAY better GM than Elway and has done a great job from day 1!

@Mark Kraft Elway did decent I think at first when he came in. But he cannot evaluate talent. He’s a good guy and face of the franchise but not a good GM.

I find it funny that The team was loaded with talent, waiting for a QB, but Elway was a bad GM, HMMM. Anyway Payton has been as good as you could hope but never forget we went to the dance twice with Johnny at GM and got a win. Johnny also won more games than any other GM in history through his first 7 seasons as a GM. Bronco fans are spoiled brats, and i get it a winning culture is what Pat B. Mr. B and Johnny created back in 1982/83 through 2016 Denver was the winningest team in the game. Also Denver is 9-8 against The Pats and the second best ever Brady. lol the only team with a winning record against the second greatest ever HAHAHA.
