I think you take CB in the second round and RB in the 4th round
No jamarr chase. Dont miss jets. Then oline dline corner in watever order. Sams best ever weapon is corey davis who just signed. Cmon hes not a bad qb. Hes been andrew lucked times 1000 in mismanagement of team around him.
@charles widmore thing is sewel is a left tackle we have a stud left tackle already we cant gaurentee either of them will be good at right tackle and if you have to pay them LT money the problem is also we are taking a chance on darnold as well he isnt a sure thing as much as wilson isnt a sure thing what if you load him with all these weapons and he still shits the bed and zach wilson is a star, then we lose out on a what if franchise qb and we get stuck with darnold and have to pay him 18 million, next years draft is said to have no where near the qb talent this draft has…at the end of the day yes we need oline, oline is 1 of the most important pieces on offense but the most important piece is qb and if you have your qb then you can build around him over time like i said we have 2 more first rounders and boat load of picks next year as well, grab your qb, give darnold a clean slate and finish up and plug the rest of the holes you can this year and next year…wilson is a rookie there is time to develop him and build around him more than you can with darnold
@MikeyBoomBotzTV y take a questionable byu qb. Its insane. U have another 1st round pick. Look u got joe Douglas from eagles. Hes a trusted guy. If he think byu wilson is the guy. Im inclined to trust it. But id rather go any other direction. And 18 million for a qb is a luxury. Wat did wentz get 28 million per year. I got lucky. Now have 4 first round picks in 2 years. Like tge jets. Team build. U can move sewell to guard. And if he can play left tackle. He can play right tackle. Cmon man. We know which one is harder. Im just saying for once just try getting a stud weapon like Mr. Chase. Wilson just feels like another typical jet risk at qb. If it was Mr. Lawrence it wudnt be a discussion. But understand thats the qb of this draft. Hes the most likely to be a star. Not Mr. Wilson. Its a risk to me no matter how much they want to say ohh yea hes a stud. No no no no. There are 2 pretty much for sure studs. One is Mr. Trevor Lawrence and the other is Mr. Chase. Arnt u tired of this merry go round? U didn’t get number 1 pick. Actually for once pick the best player or make oline a strength. Cause it will be with Mr. Becton and Mr. Sewell
@MikeyBoomBotzTV and my friend u can have a qb like luck. Who we both know was a stud. But u trade 1st round picks for trent Richardson and draft Phillip Dorsett and no oline u can kill ur qb. Which they did. Oline and dline r the most important. Obviously u need a qb. But to build a team u need line first. I just hope joe Douglas team builds and doesn’t expect Zach Wilson to save them. Its not gonna happen. Agen Mr. Trevor Lawrence and i wudnt say a word. But to drop from him to Zach Wilson is almost laughable. No wait it isnt. Its just sad. @kim goalie I dont think so. Jets have so many holes. To take a RB at 23 overall when they have 3 capable backs already doesn’t seem like the right move to me.
Trade the #2 and rebuild our core properly. Were not ready for another rookie QB yet.
@ingoq Negro Give darold a chance for another year, why we trade back to build a super bowl team. If he sucks then we can get a a quarterback that has experience that can take us to the super bowl.

Creed Humphrey isn’t a first round pick. If Horn is still available, they will take him with the #23 and they will have a decent CB group finally. Humphrey will almost certainly still be there if they want to take him with the #34.
I agree i think bryce hall will have a break out year he was projected to be a first or 2nd rounder last year but fell due to injury, i say get corner then draft Humphrey if he is still there
Hornee won’t be there at 23 after his showing at his pro day. Greg newsome may be in play though along with the LB out of Norte Dame

Wilson is better than darn old to be honest. BYU didn’t play the competition that they wanted to play due to COVID-19. They need to rest that qb contract and they didn’t draft darnold. We will be fine. I trust in joe
@Sharef Rowell Lower cap this year – the hit would be $18-$20mil. But that said, the money is irrelevant, in that you pick the best QB to run your offense moving forward. WHOEVER that is. If they choose Wilson, fine. If they choose Darnold, you have to be fine with that too, until he proves otherwise.

They trade back and pick Patrick surtain II with their first pick in first round and OG with their 23rd pick in first round.
If tay gowan is there in the 4th it’s not a bad pick up at all but I doubt the Jets wait until the 4th round for a corner. A little early for a running back in my opinion and creed Humphrey can be taken in the second round but I don’t hate this mock draft. Swap the running back pick with another interior lineman and I’m on board.

After the first overall pick which should be Wilson. We need to address the CB and the O- Line position with th 23rd & 34th picks. With those two picks in particular we don’t need an edge,TE, or a LB. Especially when our needs are greater at corner and the O-Line. If it were up to me I’ll try to move up from 23rd and draft Penei Sawell. I would give up Darnold, the 23rd and a 5th round pick this yr. And a 3rd or a 4th pick next yr..
hard to believe anyone is real about wanting the currrent QB back. a couple weeks ago PFF ( claims to chart every play ) rated Darnold the worst passer in the NFL at passes over 10 yds. the worst. I doubt Gase was coaching that.
I want offense. when is the last time Jets drafted a big time playmaker ? Santana Moss ? I want Clemson HB Etienne, imagine breaking thru the line, no boring 7 yarders being ‘big plays.’ swing him out for a pass, no LB is gonna deal with that….. then O’line.
