I love these because they allow you to see the human side of the players. I never knew Zay was such a respectable class act, but should have known based on his energy, willingness to block for his boys and never having a diva attitude even tho he’s a receiver and most are. Big Play Zay’s best game of the season. I love it!!! I believe in the man and have been expecting him to step up like he has. I love his positive attitude, work ethic and effort. He made some great plays and was solid, dependable and clutch. This is something that he can build on. I see him staying in stride, running through the catch point on deep passes, by locating the ball keepinghis eyes the same, breathing to remain calm and nonchalant, waiting until the ball is about to enter the high point on a jump ball, at which point he quickly gathers his balance point to coil and spring, jumping up to high point the ball, position his body to box out the DB, then reaching up with both hands at it’s highest point, regardless of where the DB is and regardless of whether the DB is trying to hold him back or down so that even if the defenders tried to tackle him, he stays focused and determined as he jumps up strong and catches the point of the ball perfectly with soft yet strong hands and quickly brings the ball down to secure the ball to his chest with both arms so that it’s locked in place and he gets both feet down and keeps pumping his legs and spins off of the defenders keeps running full speed into the endzone for the touchdown and the other 2 deep passes he catches in stride running through the catch point wraps both arms around the ball jukes the defenders and sprints into the endzone at full speed for the touchdowns and that Includes the game winning touchdown. Completely focused, savvy, determined and makes it look almost easy. But throughout each and every play of each and every game, he is completely focused, driven, determined, calm and just makes the plays the whole time the play is live.
This is Zay’s time to be the player that he is capable of being, he has all of the athleticism, speed, strength, resilience, toughness, focus, calm intensity, skills, ability, drive and determination and he is now that he is more focused to do exactly what he is supposed to do and what he is capable of doing, he just does it naturally because that’s what he is supposed to do. Lesser players make amazing plays all the time, so why not him…??? ANSWER: now he does. Everything just seems to fall into place and he makes it look easy, because it is for him because he worked his butt off to make it easy and make it happen as that’s what he does. Big Play Zay = just makes the play = every time = every play. This is what he does, that’s the way it is, it’s not a big deal, it’s just Big Play Zay = Making His Plays. Breathe + make the play = just be Zay = all day = in every way = Zay

Zay may not be the most talented player in the league and, quite frankly, has no business being a starter but one thing you can never question about him is his heart and effort. Dude gives it his all drive in and drive out and that is all anyone can ask for. Hell of a win fellas, now lets go get another one for Coach Madden.
