Stacy carried the ball 12 times for 87 yards and a touchdown during the Rams’ 42-21 win over the Bears on Sunday. He also saw two targets and caught one pass for 10 yards but left the game late in the second quarter after suffering a concussion.
Stacy took a big hit to the head from Major Wright that seemed to be helmet to helmet but was ruled shoulder to helmet and no penalty was assessed. Stacy stood up, removed his helmet and immediately signaled for trainers to come help him. The injury was deemed a concussion, but the severity is not yet known. Stacy will have to go through the NFL’s concussion protocol before being allowed to step back onto the field for practice this week.
