After last night’s game, Lamar Jackson was interviewed and said, “We’ve got a bye but we aren’t off this week”. That’s maturity from a player that understands what you do on a bye week if you are a contender. Hopefully on next year’s bye all of the Giants players can adopt that kind of mindset. This is a huge loss, probably for at least 4-6 games.
There were reports of DJ being in the Giants facility at 7:30 during the Giant bye week. I think most quarterbacks put in work during that week even though it isn’t required. I don’t blame anyone for taking a few days to get away though, these guys have been grinding since July.
