Buckner was a really solid pickup. It’ll help us get pressure off the edges and disguise some assignments. Instantly makes the team so much better. Pick 13 was a lot though. Wish they would have gotten someone like Marquise Goodwin or Jerrick McKinnon in the 49er deal too.
Brandon Clay Horton Buckner is better than what they would of gotten at 13th, he’s already an all pro type player so it’s safe and has high reward

Having a GM that has so many years under his belt as a scout is definitely an advantage, that’s experience you cant just get with anyone. Has an eye for talent and sets himself apart from many of the GMs today.
Im just imagining Ballard trying to negotiate a deal and John is just letting it rip in the background
