I love it when they do this next GEN stats

    Miller2h41

Watching every successful you can see the body language in both the Bucs & Saints change.

    blah350

Would love to of seen the probability of when they was down 16-3 with 5 mins left

    Miller2h41

@blah350 Probably about 1% by that point. The play that doesn’t get mentioned is when Mike Evans got the interference call on that deep pass when they were down 16-3

    Brett O'Connor

@blah350 it was a .20% chance as I recall reading

Betsy Keller

The problem with this math, is it doesn’t account for an extra percentage for Tom Brady in the 4th quarter. There needs to be a gross adjustment in terms of creating a true net win percentage during come from behind 4th quarter situations featuring Tom Brady.

    John Thompson

💯 I’ve been burned betting against this guy when the other team is 90-99% favorite

    GOLDENBEAR82

    @Cameron L
    Not sure what that means.
    Simple “down and distance” performance?

    Cameron L

@GOLDENBEAR82 what part are you confused about?
I also don’t know what you mean by “down and distance”. Are you asking about the data that was being fed? They would have worked with things like down, distance, current score, the teams’ offensive and defensive stats for the year, etc. They would basically have a database with every play, and using that you could extrapolate many other data points (like average yards per carry for the season etc).

    GOLDENBEAR82

    @Cameron L
Sounds like you are not actually sure what data was used or how it is parsed, but are speculating

    Cameron L

@GOLDENBEAR82 Yes, I don’t know the exact data. I didn’t realize that’s what you were after. That info is proprietary, it’s not possible for us to know what exactly they use. I’m not sure why you want that, though – unless you’re very good with statistics and algorithms, you’re not going to be able understand it anyway.
Or are you trying to say it’s all a lie and they just throw out a guess and don’t use a large set of data points?

Game Time

Love these type of videos. And Brady is so calm, cool, and collected in these pressure situations

    ckwon76

He’s always walking up to the line. Did the same thing in the Jets game last year on the final drive.

    Ironfangzu

For anyone else, it’s a high stress situation where you might feel those self doubts. For Brady, it’s just another chance to snap into laser focus and say to his team, “Follow me, boys, because I GOT this!” Who, on either side of the ball, would doubt him? So many good QBs might freeze up and make that big mistake to lose the game. But not Tom Effing Brady.

    Game Time

@ckwon76 yes, people underestimate how his calm demeanor helps calm the team as well and allows them to make plays.

    Game Time

@Ironfangzu exactly, it looks like he enjoys those situations and plays even better.

    Colin Poole

@Ironfangzu “I goat this” new slogan? heh

C.C. Ryder

just the GOAT doing goat things. and the Buccs never giving up.

ryan williams

I watched Chicago Bulls/Jordan in the 90’s enough to know, never give the GOAT the ball in the final minutes/seconds of the game.

Brent Holt

They say never say never, but we will never see another brady

CommonCents

( 3 td’s in less than 4 minutes is incomparable ) Yes, because lets be factual ~ Tom scored 3 touchdowns in the endzone total, in that same amount of time, but 1 was called back. TB12 ~ the greatest !

Donald Mousseau

Miss Tom.. Was glad he moved on when he did. I used to think it was a 50-50 with Tom and Bill. Based on the state of the Pats I’ve come to believe it was more Tom than Bill all along.

    David Perlstein

    @Ironfangzu facts

    pete the neighbor

It was both. Thats how you win for 20 years. And a good owner.

    Donald Mousseau

@pete the neighbor It definitely was both…But I’m no longer convinced Bill wins any without Tom…

    M T

@Donald Mousseau yeah but, Tom was still in the locker room… let’s not forget that… you need a leader even if he isn’t on the field… he’s a leader in that war room…. rallying the troops to go fight… bill is not that leader, Tom is.

    Donald Mousseau

@M T I remember a clip in SB 51 where thePats were clawing back and Bill was on one knee in front of the defense coaching them to keep fighting and give their Offense a chance. I think Bill “had” that. No so sure any more.

Dean Giusti

The Julio Jones grab at the 6yrd line was spectacular.

    GOLDENBEAR82

    @Kim
    About time!

    Ginger Hunter

If he can show flashes of that when needed, then that’s all the the Bucs need from him

    James Brasco

    Yep
    Not a great pass

    GOLDENBEAR82

@James Brasco It was on the money fool!

    Jonathan Watson

That was Prime Julio. A catch he would make when he was the #1 WR in the game

Nurturing2

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE GOAT!!! Thanks for inspiring us!!! You are so very loved!!! 🏴‍☠️♥️🐐

Nurturing2

Julio, watching you catch that ball in slow mo … pure artistry, precision, and talent❣️ You are the bomb!!! ☄️💥🔥

    GOLDENBEAR82

Check out how he “snatched it” before the defender could even reach for it!

    pix SIlvb

Like that catch he did over the sideline in the SB against the Pats, completely covered by the corner. Frigging amazing.

    Jonathan Watson

That was Prime #1 WR in the game Julio in that moment. Way to come up clutch

hiroomi mi

Anywhere hes has played, his peers, opponents or teammates do all the talking for him. That’s how you know he’s The GOAT

Miller2h41

Credit to the Bucs defense because this game could have gotten away multiple times but they kept it close. The key play was the interference call Mike Evans was able to draw because that suddenly put the pressure on the Saints.

terry7907

The most impressive thing to me is Brady read the defense correctly every time. He knew what they were doing, knew what that would mean against the routes being run, and knew who to go to. As soon as the ball was snapped, and he checked to make sure the defense had not changed up from what he read pre-snap, the ball was out.

Syncratic

That last drive was like so many during the Patriots years. One stat I thought was cool was how the holding penalty on Tampa made the win probability go from ~68% to ~32% – in one play! And then of course, Brady and co. got it done anyway.

    NMS Cafe Ka-Tet

Because of the loss of 10yds and moving back to the 16 yard line

TOM BRADY = B.O.A.T – BEST OF ALL TIMES 🏈💪😎

Jesus Garcia

Never will i see a legend like Tom Brady in my lifetime!! we should be appreciated he still playing making us witness of the greatest of all times!! Love you man you are n will always be the greatest QB ever lived!!

Mzee A Sage

What Brady just did you gave me Goosebumps.

Florida Water Adventures

I love these stats. I wish they would broadcast them live during the game.

Larry Seale

One significant factor in Brady’s clutch play is his superb mechanics. He feels nerves and pressure (he’s human), but he can give himself over to his trust in his mechanics, which allows him to relax and execute precisely despite the pressure.
