No – Elway needs to build the best team for the money available. You cannot throw money around unless your drafts are just insanely good.
I think Jamal Adams has something to do with this. I still see Denver signing him and think one season of proving it wasn’t a fluke is a good thing. Elway knows what he’s doing.

I dont think Denver will sign Jamal Adams. Denver already has really expensive FS + SS. I think Adams would ask for more money than Simmons. And I feel like Simmons is more chill, and a better fit in Denver. I still think Simmons will be here for a while (at least I hope so) But we will see. 🤷♂️
