I still feel there’s too much hype with a very very new quarterback. How many quarterbacks have we gone through sense Peyton? Drew Lock is the ninth quarterback we’ve tried to get to be successful. You’ll have to excuse me for having low confidence in a quarterback that has not played even one year yet in Denver . “Drew will either have sticking skills or hospital bills.”
That we have not found the right QB before is no measuring stick regarding Lock’s success. The previous guys have no bearing on Lock at all.

Hope Palmer is right broncos are built to run with there revamp o-line that’s the only way to beat the chiefs and control the afc west
The fact that the possibility of the Broncos leaning on the run more than the pass is even an option shows how hard this team will be to defend. We have all the options. Now let’s hope Shurmur is a good enough play caller to make use of the variety we have.
Yeah drew didn’t have a normal off season but lock still got his teammates together away from the facility and went over some of the playbook lock has done everything up to this point to have a great season this year and i believe shurmur and shula are going to do wonders with lock looking forward to watching this team should be exciting

James opted out as soon as he signed that contract… Dude is a baby soft bust… Not about health at all.

Palmer is wrong on several levels. First, any number of analysts and list producers don’t have Lock high on their lists. So he’s not being hyped in the media. I just saw a video by Brett Kollmann yesterday and he did not paint Lock in a particularly positive light. Yes, Colin Cowherd and Adam Rank gave him a lot of love. And some film guys have said they saw improvement throughout his 5 games. But hype? Not like the Browns and Mayfield got last year when most every pundit had them in the playoffs and some had them winning the SB. Lock gets no hype in comparison. Second, Palmer needs to let fans enjoy the hope Lock generated last year (and Elway through his great off season). We haven’t had legitimate reason to be excited about our team for a long time. The guys in the locker room and we fans of this team ought to have a positive view at this point. We should expect the best. And so should the players. Let the media talk about pumping brakes if you must, but you are raining on the parade! Let us be hopeful!
