    @Vivfay Donahue That’s the truth. Brady ‘retired’ out of sheer disappointment. That game was won. And should have been won. And would have been. It’s moments like that make me wonder if any of the rumors of the NFL being partially ‘thrown’ are true.

    If the Bucs do not make the playoffs, then Tom Brady is no longer Tom Brady. The effect is gone. Remember Tom isn’t in the game just to play 17 regular season games. He’s in it for the post season run along with the trophy. 3 losses on the season is ok.

    @Ginger Hunter AGREED! And there’s no finer ‘football mind’ at QB then TB12. When AB pulled his ‘man-child’ stunt last season and even with Godwin injury, TB12 adjusted – that’s what a football mind does. The last 40 seconds of the Rams game is on Bruce Arians [by his own admission]. I’m like you, I’ll take a three loss season because – barring injuries – the Bucs are odds on to be in the ‘big dance’ going for TB12 number eight. Cheers…

I would love to see the Bucs keep Le’Veon Bell. His skillset complements the Bucs’ style of game play. Wish he would have gotten more opportunities last year. I also think Tampa needs to find a better #2 and #3 quarterback solution. Gabbert didn’t look good in any of the games he was in in relief and IMO is not a preferred #2 option. If the Bucs are serious about Trask, he needs to be in the #2 spot and the Bucs need to find a veteran for the #3 spot.

    @John Doe Thanks Bro. Go Bucs!! As a long time Patriots / Brady fan, I can tell you that Shaq Mason is an upgrade over the highly competent Cappa. Mason is a fantastic run blocker and good pass blocker. I’m excited to see what Gage brings as #3 WR;, could be pivotal addition.

If he still can squeeze it, I think Brady will restructure his salary again to free as much millions as he can to get back the gang, at least the realistic ones. Some will probably cash in on out based on market offers and you can’t blame them. Still, Brady as your QB automatically gives you a shot at playoffs spot and possibility of going and winning SB 🏈 let’s gooooooooooo 🏈

I would really like to see Lenny and LBell stay. I think LBell could make a huge comeback and he helps so much when a WR goes down. I think Grayson and Perriman showed they are not just depth guys as well, so I think we are better at WR than people think. We obviously need to sign someone other than Davis for the backfield and draft a pass rusher and a guard.

Because Brady “retired”, I surmise he was no longer ‘bound’ by nfl rules and could talk freely with players around the league about the coming season. During that period he doesnt represent a team… and basically skirted the rules in a clever and ingenious way. One would think there are league rules in place preventing a signed player from acting as an agent before Free Agency starts. Seems to me he would be breaking the spirit of the rules without breaking rules and therefore no penalties can be forced upon Brady, his agent, the bucs organization or the owner.

Until the NFL league rulers put a stop to it.

Mind you…. I’m a huge Brady fan. And I say, use whatever clever “within the rules” means you can to get an edge up on your competition. He saw what happened around the league after his retirement and with recent contracts.

I am with him for another season and I hope this works.
