    Looked like it at the time but all three 1st rounders have been linked to trade rumors. The ones from rounds 2-5 (except Kittle) haven’t been game changers either. The only one that can produce consistently besides Kittle is Engram but dude is injury prone.

    All 3 first rounders are average-above average contributors. I dare say they would be all pros if healthy. Njoku is the weakest of the three, and only because his blocking is atrocious and he was injured all last year. I think this will go down as the best TE class ever as long as the top three keep healthy as they all are big targets for their respective teams.

    @Larry Legend GOAT Yup. My only criticism of him is that he said he headbutts the wall before every game as hard as he can. Only reason that’s bad is because it’s just adding to the already hard hits he takes and gives. Don’t want him to give himself a concussion or make him more likely to get one. I want him healthy for as long as possible. He’s awesome.

    DaraunTheMonk Man you can do way worse than that stat line from essentially a first year starter. You forgot the 95 rating and 70 QBR. Also, remember the original post I replied to was someone making a claim regarding Pat. If Nagy got Mitch to those levels, it stands to reason that a supremely more talented player like Mahomes would have put up comparable if not better numbers.

    @AD Gee Ok that was Mitch’s peak so far in his career, but why the drop-off. I’ve never seen a young NFL QB fall off after having a okay year. Hopefully they can piece it together but Andy Reid is light-years above Nagy

    DaraunTheMonk Ever hear of the sophomore slump? Happens all of the time. And I’m not saying Trubisky is great or that Nagy is better than Reid. Simply saying if Nagy has a lesser talented player in Trubisky being decent, he could have theoretically had Mahomes in a similar position as Reid did. I’m not saying Mahomes throws for 5k in Chicago, but I wouldn’t count it out either.

    DaraunTheMonk Yea Mahomes has GOAT potential which is why (hindsight being 20/20) I think he would have been successful in Chicago. I tell you one thing, as a lions fan, I’m glad we get to see Mitch instead of Pat lol.

    @Jony_B This class was phenomenal. Like obviously Kittle is clearly the best tight end, but the first 4 are all very solid, and Jonnu Smith is solid himself. So, all of their selections in the 1st round are relatively understandable. Engram is a bit fragile, but a real match up nightmare because of just how quick he is. So this tight end class had realistically 6 players that are themselves capable of being starters.

    @Fitterbooch Mahomes was seen as a major boom or bust prospect at the time and people would have lost their minds if the Bears drafted him that high. Not picking Watson is indefensible though. Also, Cohen was taken later than Kamara and Cohen is still a very good player. Not Kamara level, but still good.

    They also got Eddie Jackson, Eddie Goldman, Jordan Howard, Adrian Amos, and plenty of other great players as late round steals. It’s easy to look at the shortcomings while not acknowledging the great things they have done.

I saw Kittle at the combine and couldn’t believe how low he was drafted!

Then in his 1st year it was amazing to see him get separation and just run away from defensive backs.
