@The Charger Fanatic I would rank them lower than either duo for this season. The falcons duo has less touchdown production than the vikings pair, and has less utility than the chargers duo.

Keenan Allen is the best possession receiver in the NFL. He’s not a downfield threat. He runs solid routes and he keeps the team moving down the field. He leads the league in receptions and even though he doesn’t lead in total yardage, he has more yards after the catch than guys like Diggs and Hopkins because of the separation he gets.

i would classify Allen as the best route runner followed up Adams then Diggs. The thing that those two have over Allen is break away speed. If they dont run a great route they can still T. Hill you with the 6th gear

@Xyrus Golaub getting open has everything to do with route running. Adams is faster than Allen yet Allen has more receptions.
@Xyrus Golaub how did you forget that receptions is the top indicator of a good route runner? like… the whole objective is to get open, and if you’re a better route runner, you’ll get open more. Also look for stats like yards after the catch since the better the route runner, the more separation you’ll have to move around (another category Allen beats Adams in)
