There is no great receiving option at tight end, you guys literally have a 3 man carousel with Doyle, Burton, and MAC. There is no number one receiver on this team either. Dont tell me that you “have weapons”. The Texans have better weapons than the Colts, so why would Watson want to go to Indy if thats the only thing people like you cry about? Not a single player you mentioned is capable of producing at a number one, or even number 2 receiver level at the moment. Cut the bias💀.

@Kelsey Monyok Even if he isn’t the issue, it’s still time to move on. He hasn’t shown much the last three years and that’s because he never had a coach. For both his and the Jets’s sake, he should be moved elsewhere. We’re not gonna win 11+ games with Darnold anytime soon.

@Jamal Crawford Not true. Many of our young players have shown flashes. Luckily for them, they didn’t have multiple years under terrible coaching, and now they have Saleh. For most players, they’ll improve under the new staff, Darnold would too but not necessarily enough. Gotta move on…
He did have Adam Gase as his coach, so I agree.

No they had a chance to get him in the draft, and they picked Trubisky. They don’t have assets to get him.

@Different Kid The Bears didn’t even interview Watson when they could have had him in the 2017 draft. Why would he won’t to go there? And there are teams who need QBs with higher picks that can outbid the Bears.
@Dsowavyx 93 true but Watson gets to have a say in what team he wants to go to. And the bears are a competitive football team even without a QB. If they had him they would be really good. Compared to other teams getting Watson, the bears would arguably be the best contenders out of those teams. Also Nagy wasn’t the head coach yet when they drafted Mitch, so he still could go there.
